@Muzchap, delete that picture from your quote as well or it will forever stay in this topic. I don't know how I'll ever be able to sleep again having seen that.

Yes, that's him but it's not a recent picture. He had short hair while at Benfica.

Redknapp was available at the time...

He has had 'the bug' for two years now, hard to think anything's changed in a couple of days.
-
So far he hasn't been as good as Mata or Hazard, in fact he's been rather shit most of the time. No doubt the potential is there and he just needs time to adapt to English football, but that doesn't mean he should start every game in his first season at the club, especially a fixture like Stoke away where they will eat people like Oscar for breakfast. Did you know, that Chelsea haven't won a single league match this season when Mata has not started? That fact alone should be enough not to even consider benching him if not absolutely necessary.
-
Oh, poor Fernando had a stomach bug. John Terry played with two broken ribs last season...
-
It's always shocking when fans boo their own players but in this case it was about time, should have already happened ages ago if I'm being honest. To me it's okay to if someone is a shit player, but what is unacceptable if they don't even care. For example, Ivanovic had a shocker yesterday and everyone could see how heartbroken he was, as he had just let the team and the fans down. With Torres, it's like he really doesn't give a fuck and a player like that does not deserve any support from the fans.
-
I disagree, those strong Stoke lads will break him.

Guardiola only got a one year deal when he first became Barcelona manager, just saying....

It's Rafa's fault because he is a clueless cunt who froze when it really mattered, and the scary thing is that this wasn't even the first time and I guarantee it wasn't the last either. He did nothing to react to the horrible performances of a few players, when nearly anyone who knew what the fuck they were doing would have used their three allowed substitutions to try and change the game. With Torres it was pretty much the same, like Benitez he didn't even turn up and the result would have been the same if he'd just stayed in the locker room and the team had played with ten men from minute one. These two cunts might not have made the most visible mistakes like Ivanovic, but to anyone who understands even the basics of football they were by far the worst one could imagine.
-
No, because we can see with our own two eyes that he's not fit to wear the shirt. Question is, do you get paid to defend the cunt?
-
No, but he sure as hell should be.

Sure, I agree that the double standards with some people here are ridiculous but I can't really comment on that because I'm not the one bashing Luiz and / or Mikel, in fact I've been defending them just as I'm defending Ivanovic now. I also agree that he should be dropped for a few games, but nothing too radical. He's been playing ridiculously high amount of minutes lately, as have others too, and it's starting to show on the pitch. Too little rotation early in the season is coming to bite us in the ass now.
-
Okay, I didn't see the Super Cup and didn't bother watching it after I saw the result but I'll take your word for it. Now do the same for our other defenders and you'll see Brana hasn't done so bad after all.
-
Can you point out the games, aside from today of course, where Brana has either lost us points or have us knocked out of a cup? No one is faultless and so far this season Cahill, Luiz, Cole and Azpilicueta have all made much more mistakes than Ivanovic.
-
Two horrible mistakes, it's not every day you see a defender of Ivanovic's ability do those, especially twice in the same match. Still, the overreactions from some people are ridiculous. And why shouldn't he be homeless with the way he's been playing for the past two years? He hasn't done anything to deserve even one percent of the money he's earned while at Chelsea. It's ridiculous to suggest we fine Ivanovic for underperforming once but thinking about the big picture, imo players should have some reasonable basic weekly wage and then a shitload of various bonuses based on how well they do on the pitch. That way they wouldn't get the feeling they've already done all the hard work and can relax with unlimited money rolling in every week.
-
Frustrating game, we were so wasteful with the chances and their goals came from two silly Ivanovic mistakes. Torres and Oscar were both more than shit, why did Benitez not take on Ba and Lampard sooner when it clearly wasn't working the way it was? Still another 90 minutes to go and there is yet hope left, although we didn't do our chances any good with this result. An early goal from Demba Ba and they'll be shitting their pants for the rest of the game, assuming Benitez isn't once again stupid enough to start such an important game with the ladyboy. There have been greater comebacks before, just watch Napoli second leg from last season.
-
I simply have no words to describe the anger I feel towards Benitez now. Okay, I understand benching Ba because we have some important games coming up, but what I don't understand at all is WHY THE FUCK DID HE KEEP HIM ON THE BENCH ALL THE WAY TILL THE 80TH MINUTE? Hard to make an impact in less than ten minutes but Ba still managed to do more in his first five minutes on the pitch than Torres did in 80 and in the whole ten minutes of play Ba had two good headers and a goal which might or might not have been offside. I don't even want to imagine what he could have done given 30 or maybe even 45 minutes, but let me tell you that the game sure as hell would not have finished 0-2. If Benitez is incapable of reacting early enough to have an impact on the run of play, then I ask what in the name of fuck is he actually doing ? He does not shout instructions from the touchline, he does not do substitutions (especially Torres, his rentboy) and from what I gather he does sweet fuck all at half time too. Just sack the cunt already, Steve Holland can take over for the rest of the season if Guardiola won't come. Can't do any worse, can he?

I'm hearing Torres starts, but other than that it's still quiet.
-
What position do you think the fat cunt will be playing at?
-
Nice wages, a £1M / week. Must have meant a year, that would amount to around 100k a week.
-
That's expensive, just hope that if we actually do get him there really is a plan for him and not just buy the player who's been on top form without thinking if he's the right fit. I'm not intelligent enough to know these things because Fellaini's best position is so complicated. Btw, is Ryan Fong's source the guy who apparently broke this story at L'Equipe this morning?
-
Aston Villa are really missing Heskey, the Powerhouse.
-
I'm almost certain he will go to Manchester United. If old red nose won't go after Strootman instead of yet another striker like Lewandowski he should retire already. Would take him at Chelsea any time, a shame we aren't even linked with him...
-
I can understand both sides here. Lampard will obviously want to stay because he loves the club and he's desperate to break Tambling's record and truly make himself the greatest player in the history of Chelsea FC. He might even be willing to take the pay cut that was discussed in the newspapers a few days ago and if that's the case it would definitely make sense to give him at least a one year extension on reduced wages and a role as a squad player. On the other hand I can easily understand Roman's reasoning if he doesn't want Lampard at the club anymore. I would be mad too if someone were to fuck with my £13m investment, especially if Abramovich felt AVB was the right man for the long term and was ready to back AVB no matter what. Sacking AVB worked out perfectly as far as last season is concerned but we all know what Roman is like and he's not the kind of man to swallow his pride and give in to someone's demands when he's made up his mind, even though in this case he perhaps should make an exception...
