From a business standpoint....would it? I think people are caught up in an economic view that simply does not exist anymore. In the old days probably, but now the league is making it so with the revenue, and appeal, that the prices could price every working class person out and there would still be people willing to shell out to be there. I think Schurrle would always reach the bench because he still has a role to play coming from the bench. Salah is bottom choice. There is some quality on the bench though. Ake and Ramires in particular. The latter would start for any side in the league IMO.

To be fair Mourinho played Drogba over Remy in the Champions league even when Remy was fit. Not that i would support it, but I think Drogba is closer to second choice striker more than people would like to think in the eyes of jOSE.
