Your article is wrong Vesper. We paid 50 mil for Felix, so he can't be valued at 20 mil... lol... we need to get rid of him.
-
Fofana will be a stud. Everton getting a bargain if it goes through.
-
Our midfield and attack is literally set for years with Simons and the rest that have come in this window. Few gaps to sort in defence and we will be riding high for 5 to 10 years.
-
Not sold on Yildiz. Would much rather Rogers or Xavi. Juventus can keep him.
-
Not too worried about the pace which things are moving. Gittens took some time. I think we're trying to sort out some outgoings as well.

All these tables show me is that there is a lot of deception in football stats. Even goals and assists. Some players have far and away amazing stats compared to others - but aren't anywhere near as impactful. Football is so different to something like basketball, where you can see how successful someone is from certain part of the court converting on attempts, etc. Football is too expansive and the low scoring element changes things completely. Much harder to zone in on what makes players great.

I think both Simons and Hato get done. We need some outgoings though. Nkunku and Felix are surely gone? Looks like Veiga has gone quiet... hopefully more suitors for him than just Atleti. Jackson going would be huge as that is 60mil in the bank.
-
Don't fuck my but.
-
Holy ideal scenario. 55 mil for Simons and about 30 mil coming back for Carney? That seems fair.
-
If we could get half back for Chuk of what we pay for Xavi that would be a win.
-
Veiga is surely gone. Can't see much stopping that. There is 40 mil there. Sterling goes I think. If he is serious about playing for England again - he will leave. 25 mil euros. Nkunku and Felix probably leave as well by the sounds of things. We will probably have very balanced books in terms of net spend this transfer window if all this pans out. Its also nice to see everyones tune change now that the club have said Xavi, Rogers, Fofana and Hato are the targets lol... Everyone acting as if things were dire prior to winning the club world cup lol.
-
Do a Simons for Nkunku swap. 🙂 Felix, Veiga and Nkunku leaving would raise great funds. About 100 mil right there. Hopefully raise another 50 mil from Disasi and Sterling. Enough for Simons/Rogers and Hato.

Honestly one of the worst pieces of business I've ever seen... Unless they think Petrovic is set to become a bonafide superstar.
-
I never rated Sterling even during his highs... was really against the move to get him. Get what you can for him. Surely at this point he is clever enough to go somewhere he can actually get game time if he is serious about making another run in the England squad. If not - fair enough. Its a lot of money salary wise he'd be missing out on.
-
Xavi Simons strikes me as another guy who will come to the PL and struggle. On the smaller side, doesn't strike me as overly strong, and doesn't even have otherworldly pace. Crafty on the ball for sure, but I dunno. I'd rather Rogers.
-
Nkunku has been like playing with 10 men when he is on. Every now and then he has a moment, but aside from that - he is invisible.
-
Depends on who you buy. I'm not as enamoured as some on here by Wirtz. And outside of that they have a squad that is growing older as far as their mainstay players.

Club World Cup Final 2025 - Chelsea 3-0 PSG
Thor replied to ZAPHOD2319's topic in Chelsea Match Chat
Its football. Things happen. Can't put everything down to luck. We beat the "best" team in the world 3-0. Nothing lucky about it. -
Agreed. This is the first time I've looked at United and thought they finally had some idea of team building and synergy in how they will want to play. They're going to be fast, dynamic and strong.
-
We outplayed them both games. Bastards were lucky to get the first one.
-
Hopefully Liverpool shut the fuck up about never spending money now.

Fully aware of that given people caring how they look in public with certain opinions. They can say what they want, but as soon as the hype for their beef died down, Drake has gone back to being far more streamed and listened to. Drake is more liked, and more disliked. I think both haven't made good albums, but Not Like Us was so lame.
