Ah, a new manager. Great. That is the fix for consistency. Not like we don't do that all the time. Crazy is doing the same thing consistently and expecting different results. This club is fucking terrible at managing players and managers. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

What points? "He belongs in the Europa League"... What do you want me to debate there? You think our best player is that level despite being a top 5 player in the world. There is no point debating with someone who can't comprehend what is being said to him in the first place. Just drivel from you as always. Great analysis with the "so do you" comeback. Brilliant mate. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

You seem like the type to cry about it after posting the drivel you do. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Idiot. Never have I seen someone be so salty and wrong on just about everything on here. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Takes some balls and skill to not move on a penalty and save it like that. Already one of the world's best shot-stoppers. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

You're a dead set idiot if you hate Luiz. Sit here and pretend he wasn't our best defender this season all you want. Won't make it true. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Embarrassing for everyone involved. Pool and City are the only ones that have anything to be proud of. I will say though that Spurs play some eye pleasing football. They're in the semis too for CL so they may be pinning all their hopes on that. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

How are we going to get all these transfers with the ban in place?

I'm sorry but I can't stand this City team. Their second team is better than any other teams first 11 and I'm supposed to be impressed by them winning? They have the best team in the world and all I hear about is how good Pep is. Hope Liverpool pip them for the title. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

I'm sorry, but he is my least favourite Chelsea player ever. Just doesn't add anything. Can't stand watching him on the field. I've never felt like a position has been more held up then in the last 2 years with Alonso.
-
Everyone raved and ranted about him before we got him, but now suddenly he isn't good enough? I'm never generally a fan of these types of players, but what has changed for those of you that were such massive fans? I genuinely think Kovacic who has been quite poor this season would fit that role quite well. He is so much more dynamic, and for what he lacks in finishing, he is a very good passer from the back, and can drive the ball up, which Jorgi can't. I've never understood buying this specialist type players. Players need to be dynamic and malleable, and generally good athletes to create a team that can move well going forward. Jorgi is small, lightweight, and isn't particularly quick.

It is very hard to love this club at times. The solution is always fire the manager if we don't have success from day dot. When will it become apparent that it isn't the manager, but maybe the players? Are we going to sit here and pretend, that aside from AVB and RDM, we haven't had world class, after world class manager come through? There are clearly a lot of kinks to be worked out in our game. Clearly. But we clearly don't have the players we need to play this style of football. Clearly. When are the players ever going to be held accountable? Did the marvelous Pep do well in his first season? I thought he was one of the best ever? Oh, he only managed to win after spending the most money in a transfer window ever? Oh my, how did he do it? Was he sacked his first season too? Why does Klopp get the benefit of the doubt and time to make something happen? Why has it worked out for him? Was it possibly due to being given time, and being able to test what players work in his system? Sarri plays a beautiful game. We just don't have the players to play it at the moment. Not just that, we have some toxic players in our club. Those who have requested to be shipped out. Do it. Gladly. Every single one of them. Doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results is the definition of crazy. Does the club, or some of you supporters think it is just going to magically find a manager that will stay here 10 years and build a legacy and brand of football given our current ways? No. Hell no. None of them feel relaxed enough, or feel they have enough time to implement their gameplan. I'm glad Sarri isn't changing his methods in game. The players haven't even learned how to effectively play his game. Why should he change, when he can't even get his gameplan in motion and build an image/style for the club? Infuriating. Give him time. Tell all these diva players to get out. Don't care how talented they are.

I thought Higuain's movement was fantastic. So nice to see a player actively looking for the ball, and wanting to put in proper shots at the goal. Say what you want, but Morata, and Giroud always half assed it, and that is why you see Giroud take those crazy shots, because he is not willing to put in the work, work his way to a better shot, and live with the consequences. He'd rather pot shot a hail mary attempt, and have everyone okay with it because it was such a hard chance to begin with. His link up play was lacking a bit giving the ball away a few times, but that looked more like becoming accustomed to how each of our players move. He had a few great sequences, then had a few where he completely misplaced the ball. Not a worry for me though. Jorgi... Why is Luiz doing your job? To be fair it must be infuriating playing with Hazard and Willian as your wingers. Neither make direct runs behind the defence when we have the ball in the final third. One of the big reasons we can't create great chances. Fair enough with Hazard because he is great at carrying and breaking down defences. But Willian should be running that line and darting in behind so Jorgi has something to look for. This is why I prefer CHO. He has that directness to his game. He loses the ball a little bit more at the moment (largely due to being selfish and wanting to prove himself), but he runs in behind, looks to get in good positions, and doesn't feel like he needs the ball to work. Willian is beyond frustrating dropping back and picking up the ball, because he isn't great at running at players and getting around them, and it leads to Alonso being out of position half the time if he switches to the left. I was impressed with AC. One small mistake, but I never thought it was a penalty. He kept trying to push the defensive line up, unlike Luiz (who I thought was great, but obviously this is more of a repetition thing with him seeing as the whole team has been doing this). We need to make the line between that midfield and defence smaller. It will help Jorgi out a lot. Our defenders can pick up the ball earlier, shadow it, and allow Jorgi to get back quicker due to the gap being smaller. Though this would require our RB and LB to be any decent at their job. I'd just run Azpi at CB and look for two new fullbacks this summer.
-
Alonso with a shitty cross as per usual. I'm sure this is somehow Hazard's fault...
-
They have both been good, but both are playing too deep because Azpi and Alonso have been terrible for me.
-
So Alonso not being at LB, despite being our left back isn't a problem? Him being the furthest player up the pitch and having Willian chase back is not a problem? Can you explain why we keep getting caught on the counter with no one near the attacking player on that side that Alonso plays?
-
We clearly don't have a left back. No one is ever there.
-
Alonso is leaving that left side completely open. Jesus... Jorgi expects the defence to be sitting a little higher. As they should.
-
I feel as if Luiz does Jorgi's job better than Jorgi does.
-
Well he is certainly 3 times the player Morata is. So was I wrong for wanting the better option of the two available at the time? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

I've learnt to be wary of these "amazing" strikers people go on about. Morata was one I didn't believe was anything special. Was told otherwise on here. Tried hard to support him when he got here. Blatantly obvious I was trying to wish him into a good player. Belotti was another one I wasn't impressed by when he was going off. Told he was fantastic and we should sign him up. Looks like a good thing we didn't. This guy seems more of the same. I know some will say otherwise, but what exactly does he do well? He went on an insane stretch, and seems to be cooling off. Is it more the cost and risk associated that makes most of you think it is worth it? For 40 mil? Sure. I wouldn't be expecting our striker problems to be solved though. He just doesn't look that special. To further throw a spanner in the works, I don't think Icardi is all that special either.

Never seen this Barella kid prior to the last week, but looks immense. Reminds me a lot of Modric funnily enough. Seems very broad in the positions he would be able to play.
-
Giroud out there is like playing with 10 men. Get RLC on as ST.
-
Pulisic has 4 as his most. Traore had 5 last year. Like I said, if this is the level we are going for, get Traore. World class dribbler and will beat players for days. People over complicate things. Live wires like him who can dribble and take on people can really open up their game on a better team. Look at Sane. No one rated him prior to him going to City. I remember people on here dreading the thought of him coming when he was linked with us. That turned out well.
-
If this is the level of player we are going for, I would rather get Adama Traore. More talented, quicker, and he has at least been improving unlike Pulisic. His end product has been getting better, while Pulisic has been demoted to the bench.
