I actually think Havertz will slot into their team nicely... Not suited for our team, and clearly him and Mount had an impact on the dressing room politics. He needed to go, but I think what he does on the pitch is a positive given our faults as a team over the last year and a bit.

Thurman could be a better option than Lavia. Looks bigger and stronger. Yaya like.

We need the attacking front 3 to be in sync - and getting good quality balls into them. Hopefully with Mudryk, Nkunku and Maduake running at people, and Enzo slotting balls in, we will be able to put balls in the back of the net. Add Jackson into the mix, and surely between the lot of these players they can link up very nicely.

Guys - off topic here - but it is the most active part of the forum. My partner and I are coming to the UK from Australia in October, and was hoping to pick up a ticket for the game on the 21st or 28th of October. What is the best way to get tickets? Is it difficult to get through re-sellers if its already sold out, and what are generally the prices for some decent seats? Cheers.

How many players have we, and other big clubs bought just 6-12 months after they come in, become a massive revelation and the next big thing? Very rare we, or other big clubs get it right early. I mean, at times we did, with KDB, and others, and we let them walk... It just isn't sound logic, or the right way to look at it.

From what I'm seeing based on our recruitment, this team is big on "advanced stats". As someone previously posted, Jackson's advanced stats are through the roof and if it is a target Poch is after, it is a good fit by their metric. I'm okay with it.

I completely agree with this. Caceido just doesn't look anything special... Looks far more likely to fail than the other two who are far more polished players and just as, if not more of a physical presence in the middle. The comparisons to Kante as well... I don't see it. Kante was more polished even coming into our team, and has far better touch. 80 mil for a guy who has a high chance of bust with only one decent season is just crazy. Gabri Viega, Kone and Lavia all look far more polished and dynamic/robust to me. They just offer more as players.
-
I'd be happy with this. Reality is - players like Mount aren't a precious commodity in my opinion. He isn't a physical presence, nor overly technical, or rather pacey. Just a motor in the middle with some nice skills. I am in two minds on Havertz though. A lot of people underrate him - and fault him for things he is actually quite good at - like hold up play and seeing the field. He uses his body well and knows how to pick a pass/man. I really think he'd be a fantastic player in a well established team with a nice offensive scheme in place. Wouldn't want him to go to a direct rival because of this.
-
You have to be the most negative person on here lol... You can't just spend, spend, spend - because I've seen you react poorly whether we overpay or don't buy. The quick to anger ones on here really don't want to give this team/organisation time to set a new path. Just because stop gaps and a method worked before, doesn't mean it was the most effective. Sometimes 10 steps back before you can launch and start to run.
-
Sell him only for $150 mil.

I actually think Ugarte is a more polished player than Caceido. Significantly too.
-
What logic? My logic is if we miss out on one player - doesn't mean there isn't another viable option. I like Ugarte - I think he fits our team perfectly, but if we can't get him - there is someone else of similar profile that could slot in. Our club just needs to do their due diligence.
-
You guys are never happy. Goes out and spends - "We got rinsed. Overpaid." Holds firm on price - "We are f*cking done. Penny pinching. Shit owner." Every signing they've made post Tuchel leaving has been of high quality. Complain about the likes of Mudryk all you want, but even he is a great player that just needs time. You guys are acting as if we can't assemble a great team because we missed one player who no one knew about before 3 months ago.
-
So it is done?... Would be great news but seems to be conflicting information out there.
-
The more I've seen of Ugarte, the more impressed I am. He is so tidy on the ball. A lot quicker than I thought too.
-
With Badi out injured for pre-season and the start of next - I'm guessing Colwill is a lock to come back.
-
I guess Colwill will most certainly be back here next season then.
-
How are City still in the league? What happened to their cheating and accounting blunders? That just die down? Wanks.
-
Got a good feeling about this one! 4-1. Haaland will score 3.
-
We signed so many players that everyone wanted here and look where we are. Maybe some of us aren't the talent scouts we think we are.
-
Kante has been immense since coming back. I know a lot have been so-so on whether he goes or stays, but he is still world class. The man is a football genius. Sometimes I don't care about better to go, he is Chelsea through and through and I'd love to see him stay and finish his career here - or at least up until the bit he hasn't got anything left to give.
-
I'd rather Toney over Osimhen. I just have a feeling Osimhem won't be anywhere near as prolific in the EPL.
-
This. De Gea made a blunder that Kepa would have been shat on for. In fact, he has made plenty more blunders than Kepa and yet Man U are far ahead of us. Our keeper situation isn't ideal, but it is absolutely fine. We could win the league with someone like Kepa in goal - no problems. We'd have more nervy moments but we could still win.
-
Mans is scoring. Up that value big Rom and we will send you wherever you want.

Frank's last draw was with Everton against Man City. Well hold onto your hats Chelsea fans, what do you think he is going to be able to do if he could draw with that shitty Everton team?
