We got Adams for 90 million less. He makes more tackles and more progressive passes on the field. Their aerial and ground success is pretty much identical, as well as interceptions and clearances. I’m just not that fussed… people are acting as if we have lost out on prime Hazard here. I think there will be 2-3 players in the same vein as Caceido sooner than later in the EPL. Pretty confident we have some talent in our team in the middle that will end up in the same breathe.

I just can’t be too upset at missing out on Caceido. There have been far better players move for less. He is 70 percent the player Kante is and going for that much. I dunno. Not fussed. He isn’t a generational type player. Stop gap - or maybe one of the young guys we have come on well this season.

He has one good season and people act like he is the best thing ever at that position. Remember when we spent 100 mil last time on a player that was meant to change it all. We went from 12th to… 12th. We are buying players on the up, some with experience, and guys that are undervalued. Kante, Dave, James, Costa, Silva, Rudiger, etc…. All players that came on the cheaper side or through the academy or that were “second choice” and they won us silverware.

I like the fact he played at Leeds too, who actually had quite a high possession and maintaining the ball type style. Say what you will, but this kind of stuff is handy - as it shows he can play in a bigger side, but also the fact that his tackling and dispossessing stats aren't simply due to him being in a smaller side.

You'd surely take Neymar for 50-60 mil. I really don't think he'd be a locker room problem as suggested.

You and a few others were saying there would be massive differences in getting Enzo in or not. Reality is - football doesn't work that way. Caceido isn't prime R9. Great player, but the gap in him and Lavia isn't gigantic. We are going to be competitive either way.

This would be ideal. Finish it off by getting rid of CHO, Lukaku, and maybe Ziyech. Then get Caceido, Adams and Kudus. Maybe don't even need Adams if both Caceido and Kudus come in.

The more videos I watch of Disasi, the more excited I get. I think this guy will be an absolute champion here. Exactly the type of players we need more of. Dynamic, strong, great on the ball. He looks immense. Our backline looks great for the foreseeable future. Enzo in the middle. If we get Caceido... Amazing. Just need the front 3/4 sorted - and we will be great.

People are never happy on here. Get another front guy and Caceido and we're set.

The more I watch of Caceido - I do see a good player - but not 100 mil worth. But I guess it is what it is. He is a very, very good player. Just hard to see 100 mil worth.

Nah - he makes money off videos and twitter posts and ads. Just more updates - and people complain about the updates being the same, but not like he can control it since hes not negotiating. If there isn't anything to update - he says things remain as is, etc.

Onana was beaten from the halfway line... Not saying this can't happen to keepers, but crazy that some of y'all wanted him here. Just looks bang average to me and not a clear upgrade at all. We've done better business on the GK front. Anyway - lets hope we get in Caceido and Olise - and that is a successful transfer window. Ideally Lukaku and Ziyech would be gone, but you can't complain with the amount of deadwood we got rid of. Also - those who whinge this season about lack of quality in the team can check themselves now. We've gotten in just about all of the targets people wanted and proper players. Lots of "just pay the price" chat in here, so if it doesn't work out, we can't just blame the board as most of us agreed that these were good players we brought in.
