We have one Argentinian and six French players. Nkunku, Gusto, Benoit, Disasi, Sarr and Fofana. Its easier to move on from one than six. But 4 out of the 6 of our French haven't been super impactful, probably closer to 5. And something like this really shows peoples true colours. Its crazy how many racist pieces of shit there are out there - insta comments an example of that.

It’s probably best he leave. To be honest - his actions here are probably less racist than what Sam Kerr did recently and she stayed at the club. She actually acted on her own and berated a taxi driver racially. Yet she’s still at the club. Could be a case of far less eyes on the women’s game but still - if they could get past one thing then this is surely something they consider?

I tend to agree with this. Culture plays a big part in this. Something that is open and free to talk about somewhere is not necessarily the case elsewhere. A lot of these footballers haven't experienced real life, nor life in other parts of the world until their adult life begins. They carry their upbringing with them. I don't think Enzo is racist. I think he is stupid. Dumb and young. Saying that though - who knows what happens from the situation. Him leaving may be the only option - but I agree that the club could come good from this and a learning moment could arise. Obviously down to our players internally as well. Him leaving may be for the best, but it could be a teaching for him and others internally as to how to make things better moving forward.

Absolute legend. Becoming a fav of mine. It always takes a decently long string of games for people to go "oh, he is playing well". He has been decent to good for a lot longer than people let on here. Great to see it being recognised. There is a really player there. He is a pitbull.

You live and learn. They certainly are making sure not to repeat the same mistakes. I've never rated Sterling highly as some, but he has achieved 10 times what the others have on that list.

We are in for players of quality. Olise and Calafiori are nice but all of those guys even outside of them would be demanding too much. None of them have achieved much of anything.

We were top 4 second half of the season. Then we have Nkunku, James, Fofana, Lavia, Chilly all coming back. Add in the guys that are depth signings. Add in a proper coach with tactics rather than running around. Add in we have the youngest team in the league who will improve year after year. We are in a good spot.
