No vertical passing in and around the box. Side to side. Nothing will happen against a low block.
-
Half those players are worse than what we have here. We have some mismatched pieces trying to fit and learn how to play together. Takes time. Y'all can't even give Poch 17 games before calling it quits - and he hasn't had a full roster the entire time.
-
Toney is ass. Isn't better than Jackson. Give the boys time. Mamar is good choice.
-
Statistically the same/better as Osimhen at similar ages - while doing it in tougher leagues.
-
Better than Salah and KDB for us. Young. Doesn’t get his head down. He’s good with me.
-
He seems fine. What is there not to like?
-
Jackson has his flaws, but he is young, and does many things well. The thing is, we don't play in a way that is suited to him. This team is fairly lazy - and doesn't move defences enough. Jackson would kill in a system like Spurs.
-
We're still so garbage. First good chance we've had.
-
Agreed. Mudryk is a passenger, but in games like this, he has provided our 3 most dangerous moments. Its odd. Palmer looks lost and lackadaisical out there today. I'd take him off.
-
The players just don't look assed.
-
Lads need to be booed hard. This is pitiful.
-
We're so boring to watch. This team doesn't practice vertical passing? Lots of passing around but nothing that presses. Why do our players in the middle of the ground never receive the ball and turn and look up?
-
No one wanted Gordon. No one wanted to keep Jorgi. No one wanted Lukaku. But now we act like they are playing awesome and the board made a mistake. Reality is - the starters we have out there are mostly players that people here wanted. I can go back now to the threads saying "finally a proper number 9 who fights hard" for Jackson. Fans have wanted a model of consistent football style, youth promotion, and a semblance of growth within the club - and now that an ownership team is trying to do it, and hasn't turned it around in a year - everyone is saying buy more, buy better, change it up, we just need to win. Why can't anyone let things marinate?
-
Is it Poch or is it the players?
-
We're the opposite of flat track bullies. We can't win against the teams we are supposed to lol.

I'm rocking out with my cock out. It is some of y'all playing these sad tunes acting like the world is over This is exciting for me. We have young talent, we are playing better football - and we just outplayed every team in the typical "top 4" talks in our stretch of games. Then we lose some winnable ones. Signs of a young team that just need to grow and add a bit of experience.
-
This forum is pure dross. Same people wanting the next new shiny toy - after saying the previous shiny toy would answer our problems and get us back into top 4. Most of you are spoiled brats who don't want to give anything time to breathe and settle. We're oozing with talent that needs time to band together and gel. Our key players have been riddled with injuries this season, and we have a near completely new team. We'll just sign more players, y'all will act like the management team is finally doing something, then claim that player is shit - just like you guys have with every player we've signed. Its pure, pure dross on here. Some of you deal with a bit of adversity like peasants.

Wow, crazy - this forum reacting after a short amount of games and writing someone/the team off? We look far better with Caceido on the field than we do when he doesn't play. Our team is a project filled with great players. City just got outplayed by Villa and had 2 shots on goal, both of which came in the 11th minute. Man United just lost 3-0 to Bournemouth. We have a shit game in a stretch of 7 or 8 where we had great improvement, and it comes against a team we haven't done well historically against recently, and while we were absolutely depleted for numbers. Enzo and Caceido both worth it on an individual aspect. Just need to click and find what works within the team. You don't just outplay the likes of Arsenal, City, Tottenham, etc by mistake.
-
Scott "El Phenomenon" McTominay.
-
Our midfield needs help. They're playing narrow and just drowning us with numbers. Even the best midfield would struggle with this. We aren't set up to bring the ball up the field.
-
Why is McTominay prime R9 against us?
-
Disasi has been horrid today. Dreadful.
-
People shit on Mudryk, yet often his moments of magic make things happen for us.
-
They should be 4-0 up.
-
My issue is United have been outplayed by nearly every team they've played. Sure they pip some teams with BS luck, but they're thoroughly outplaying us. That is my issue.
