Gallagher should play backup to Caceido's role. We need someone who can actually move and manipulate the offence in the role Gallagher is playing atm. And Broja should be sold.

Hall isn't that great. Not sure why people were upset at him leaving. Not bothered what he does. VO will fail here. Our problem isn't finishing, it is creating on a consistent basis. VO ain't finishing anything with nothing coming in. Better to have a better all around footballer out there helping the guys in build up play that can also finish than just an out and out finisher given where our team cadence is at. TBH - I know Colwill hasn't gotten time at his proper position, but tactically at the back he has looked poor. Technique wise defending he has looked poor. There are certain things I get he shouldn't be good at given being out of position, but his actual defending and decision making even when pressed back more and hedging centrally has been really poor. I think our entire backline bar Gusto is pretty overrated and subpar. Might be time to completely revamp. A lot of the build up starts from the back. Our defenders are lame and timid passing the ball even when we have teams pressed. Rather side to side than try and pick a man.

His goal scoring record outside of that one season is very mid level... And he has done it in very average leagues. Jackson is a better player than him. He is. VO ain't carrying the ball up the field and opening up the game like NJ is. Sure NJ has missed some sitters, but they are more highlighted because of how poor we've been as a club - and those big chances created are very misleading. Sure - some strikers would have put more in the net, but its more so down to return to the mean stuff rather than Jackson as a player. He isn't always going to miss tap ins and that. I'm all for getting another striker, but VO isn't the sure fire thing like Kane and Haaland. Don't need to try and force it IMO.

Vic had one great season at Napoli. The rest have been middle of the pack. A lot of other strikers in the Serie A have put up his numbers if not better and done it at a similar/younger age.

That isn't the issue. Its when we go and pay 120 mil and then everyone here acts like they were crazy for paying 120 mil, when in fact the fans were calling for heads if it wasn't paid. The same people who whinge about us overspending on certain players were the ones screaming for them to just sign and stop worrying about the numbers.

He'll come here and people will quickly realise Jackson offers a lot more around the pitch than Victor does when he isn't scoring. He isn't the Kane, Haaland, Lewa level that everyone seems to want to throw him in. Reality is - he is the guy that had one exceptional season when Napoli was exceptional. A lot of other forwards in Italy have had similar scoring type seasons to him previously, and they all ended up poor to average when moved on.

Underrated player IMO. People get too tied to G+A stats these days. By that metric you'd think Iniesta or Hazard were just middle of the road players. I get Timo plays upfront, but he opens up a lot for his teammates.

He was the best player at his position last year in the PL. Statistically you could make the case he was up there in all of Europe too. So I don't know what impresses you. Coming into a new team, not playing your natural role, and only being 21? Or whatever he is... I don't care about price tags. We aren't the ones buying. The reality is - 95% of the board was happy when we got him - because everyone thought we got a class player. Now? Apparently he is dog water. People sit here and blame the board - when they were ecstatic with the purchases they made at the time. Its like blaming your boss when they give you a big account, says they're going to sign, you fully agree and are on board with it based on the info and what you see - then blame your boss when it all falls apart and take no responsibility.

You all wanted him and rated him prior to coming here - and now he is shit? His pass to set up the second goal was top class. Our midfielders are good players - you don't suddenly just become shit. We just seem to have people not playing the roles they are best at. Poch needs to put his players in positions to be successful. I don't think it is on the midfielders as much as it is Poch.

I know people love shitting on Jackson here, but he really excels at turning, drawing defences, and carrying the ball for us. As long as he can keep his decision making that good - he is a huge asset.
