Gusto in a vacuum he is a fine player. But get him to do anything bar lock down someone 1v1 and he seems lost.

Same thing is happening as it did in the Fulham game. Middle of the pitch is open and CP are getting down the pitch extremely quickly. No idea what is going on.

Enzo has been brilliant. I know our results have been down recently, but even the weeks before that I like the way he is finally playing that role. Great at holding it up, making those line breaking passes, etc.

We score then let them onto the ball... I don't get it. We've done this a few times against sides like this. Can't let up and invite pressure.

We're pretty average aerially. I say that more defensively in open play. Whenever a deep ball comes in and it has that awkward bounce before getting to that backline, it always looks panic stations for us. Probably a reason as to why despite getting one of the best set piece coaches, we really haven't scored much off it.

See if Jackson misses that I have to hear on here how he isn't a good enough striker. Isak does it, we ignore it and pretend like every striker doesn't miss shots that easy no matter who they are.

You can't just have talent after talent - especially when some will have to sit on the bench. Conor is good enough to start somewhere but not good enough for the football we play here. Lavia, Enzo and Caicedo are levels above Conor - so your replacement needs to be someone of the KDH level that knows how to play the system and can fill the void when an injury does occur. The issue has been that KDH has had trouble adapting into our squad, and hasn't been as effective as thought. A more dynamic midfielder may be needed but keeping what we had was not the answer as Gallagher would have just left regardless not getting minutes. Better to cash in. We need to cut the crap of shitting on the board as well. They've done a tremendous job in turning things around fairly quickly with a new model. In fact, to be where we are given a complete turnaround in how we are run and the methodology internally, its been great. They've clearly struggled to identify defensive talent more so than offensive, because bar Mudryk, we've been excellent in who we've offloaded and then kept/brought on. Estevao, Palmer, Neto, Noni, Jackson, Nkunku are all good to great and can make a profit on all of them. We're literally a CB and RB away from competing. Bring back Santos and let him be that dynamic midfielder who can do a bit of everything.

Reece and Fofana need to go and get a quality top shelf CB and RB. Its getting ridiculous at this point. Thanks for everything, but this isn't a hospital - and we need active players.

I would take Delap, Duran or Isak here if Nkunku leaves. In that order, as I think that is from cheapest to most expensive. I think Delap is a great talent and worth going for at 50 mil or less. Could have got Duran for 30 odd previously, but whatever.

Saka out until March. Think Arsenal will struggle with creativity even more. They are good at avoiding losses but winning games is their issue.

He isn't great inverting and like you said - his game suffers when he is asked to do too much. Whenever he has been told to just bomb up and down and lock his matchup down 1 on 1, he shines. Anything more, he looks like a tidy player always in the wrong place and not making an impact.
