  1. You know what i'm trying to say....
  2. it's funny how we think of Oscar as a young and immature kid, when he's already married
  3. It's funny that now if he signs there's probably going to be more disappointed people than happy
  4. He'll miss out on going to the World cup though which is why he wanted Spain or England. We know how footballers are nowadays though
  5. Hulk will either come to us or stay at Porto i think. Doesn't make sense for him to go to the russian league
  6. Really liked the Meireles and Mikel pivot today. Complemented each other. I think Lamps could learn something from Meireles' performance today. The pivot are meant to work in tandem, if one goes forward, one stays back and holds and they never advance too far forward consistently. I don't blame Lampard though i think he's been doing that a lot because we only usually have Torres in the box and so he wants to create another option, but then again the balance is slight affected. Putting Moses/Sturridge on the right wing should address this and give some assistance in the box. However back to Meireles, he played the role that we expect from someone in the Pivot, keep the play in front of him, spray balls around and keep things ticking. Hopefully once we get a full squad back Lamps will do more of this because i don't expect Meireles to have this type of performance consistently. Good win, against a team which causes us problems. The thing i'm most happy about is that i think the fear factor is coming back. Teams aren't going to attack us too much as they'll be wary of Hazard and if they try to double up on him, then they leave Mata exposed and so on. Hope this continues
  7. Very interesting developments here He tweeted this before deleting it straight away: @taisonfreda7 Chuvendomuito em #Londres !! Amanha Ucrania !! This translates too: Raining a lot in # London! Tomorrow Ukraine! Think a potential transfer might be on the cards
  8. Completely changed the game. Gave the Spurs defence a torrid time
  9. In fairness i'm pretty sure Hulk's natural position was as a Striker, but was then converted to a winger? I've definitely seen him playing as a striker for Brazil. Maybe the club want him to challenge Torres for CF and Oscar has already said that Robbie wants him to play in Lamps' position. Not sure what the club is doing really, but all we can do is back them
  10. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/opinion/columnists/oliver-holt/Crystal-Palace-starlet-Victor-Moses-was-playing-street-football-with-a-sticky-tape-ball-when-he-heard-both-his-parents-had-been-murdered-article53720.html#.UDh8TB1KEcZ.twitter If you haven't read this, i suggest you do. Must have had a very tough childhood, makes you really respect Moses
  11. Following the news that was advanced by Russian site lifesports, that Zenit and FC Porto have reached agreement for the transfer of Hulk to the club of St. Petersburg, in exchange for 50 million euros, the player's advisor denied. "A news is false. I talked [yesterday] with the Hulk and his manager, Teodoro Constantino, and they told me that what was written does not correspond to reality, stating to me that are in talks with three clubs and more FC Porto », made even notice the BALL press officer player, Ahaz Fellegger. "There I was told the names of the clubs that are outside of Portugal in negotiations [ed: Chelsea and Zenit are sure], but the permanence of the Hulk at Porto is also a hypothesis', returned to safeguard Fellegger, which has indications of both the player and his agent himself that "between Tuesday and Wednesday everything will be solved." http://www.abola.pt/....aspx?id=348970 This transfer is still very much on it seems It's google translated and so some bits don't make too much sense
  12. 'Speaking to TSF, Ahaz Felleger confirms that there are only three clubs interested in hiring Hulk and the player's manager, Teodoro Constantino, hopes to resolve the player's future until Tuesday or Wednesday' We are definitely one of those 3 clubs
  13. Look at what rdm said about Moses in his interview. All he mentions is how he can play on both wings, and provides width. Doesn't even mention that he can play striker. I know he used to play there at Palace but he definitely won't be our 3rd striker
  14. https://twitter.com/joao_ruela Check his timeline
  15. You guys do know that manager's lie a whole lot when it comes to transfers right.........
  16. A Portuguese journalist is saying that the only remaining problem in this deal is the 10% of Hulk that is owned by his one former clubs and that his agent is on travel
  17. As much as you feel like we don't need another out and out striker, the club clearly feel that we do need one. We were going to get giroud until wenger stepped in and we've had enquiries turned down for lewandowski apparently too. So if the club feels this way then Llorente would be a good option
  18. Don't think it's scapegoating at all. I saw a link yesterday to another forum (Think it was a City one) and even highlighted how Lamps has no discpline whatsoever. As things stand, he's not playing his role in the team and is getting forward far too often
  19. He is the reason why we've been looking vulnerable at times
  20. Eden Hazard is fucking special. That is all.
  21. A Middlesbrough fan has already described him as world class from tonight lol
  22. Tancredi Palmeri Cavani: question: have Chelsea and Napoli talked? Answer: yes. question: what was the bid: answer: what was said can't be called a bid. Chelsea checked the will of De Laurentiis to sell, and De Laurentiis answered in the already known way: 50m € negotiable. That means never less than 40m €. Chelsea said they are interested but for now not at that price. They ended with gentlemen agreement that De Laurentiis would have give them a call in case he would receive meanwhile a bid from third part. Percentage of happening this summer: 5%. Next summer: 50.1% Writes for Gazzetta dello Sport
  23. There was a lack of options. It was either Bertrand or Sturridge who's had an injury this week. We've hardly any indication to suggest this
