  1. So give him time to see if he can learn from his mistakes. He's an inexperienced and is going to make some mistakes, there is also going to be times where we call him a genius. The point is you stick by a manager and give him a fair crack of whip, not want him out after 5 odd fucking games. Just for once I would just love not to see silly overreactions on here whether it's a win or a loss
  2. No offence but your actually joke. It is fine to criticise a manager, but if you want him out after just 4-5 games thn go and support spurs with there so called 'fans'
  3. I'll be pissed off if we don't win tomorrow. We destroyed them with 9 men last season and should of won and then gave them a beating at the Bridge. We even beat them in the cup when Avb was destroying the team. Don't care if it's a big or small win, just want the 3 points and bragging rights over these cunts. I'd like to see: Cech Ivanovic Cahill Terry Cole Romeu Mikel Moses Oscar Hazard Torres
  4. From the comments, they do see Oscar in the pivot, but he's just not quite ready to be starting in that position yet. So basically it will be Ramires and Romeu rotating with Frank and Mikel for the most part and Oscar will be eased into that role over time. I do think Oscar will be our Lampard replacement and will start games in the pivot come next season (if Rdm is still in charge). It sounds as though that is the long term plan
  5. 'Oscar can play in number of positions. We are blessed with players who can play in multiple postions. He can play in the number 7 role. Again he is not going to be a old fashion winger. He’s not that style of player. He can play in the number 10 role. He can also play in the 6 and 8 role. Where Lampard and Obi play. He isn’t ready to play in the number 6 or 8 role yet, but it’s something he has. The number 10 and 7 he can play in those positions the most.' - Eddie Newton http://transfernewscentral.com/assistant-manager-eddie-newton-talks-about-chelsea-youngsters/ Saw this on twitter. Will probably be Ramires who we see playing in the Pivot then rather than Oscar for the time being
  6. We need the Everton fan on here to clear things up
  7. A lot of people really started to take notice of Fellaini (ability wise) from around winter time last season. Well at least i did anyway. The guy is still only 24 and he's been at Everton that long because he just wasn't good enough in his early years, was very raw, bit too aggressive etc. Also your painting out Everton as though there a bad side. There League finished have been 5th, 5th, 8th, 7th, 7th in the last 5 years. No one ever says Fellaini is 'world class' or anything like that, majority say he's a good player which he is and like i said earlier is only 24
  8. You know it's bound to happen haha. Will be very surprised if we don't go for him January
  9. I Like Fellaini. Good player that can hopefully get better with age and will add to our Belgian contingency. If we can strike a good deal with everton for him in January, it'll be great
  10. Meireles is a pretty decent player when he wants to be mate. He presses and passes very well at times but he just lacks focus and concentration which makes him do silly things such as take ridiculous shots or make silly passes. However when he does stay concentrated for a whole game he's a very effective player like he was for portugal at the Euros. Topal is a defensive midfielder if i remember correctly? Meireles should be able to form a good partnership with him as Topal can do all the dirty work and then leave the creativity to Meireles to pick out players like Stoch on the wing. He'll be a good signing for you definitely
  11. I just pray that Robbie puts Hazard or Marin on the left and Moses on the right. Bosingwa and Fabio will have nightmares
  12. Looks like our midfield options are going to be Mikel, Lampard, Romeu, Oscar and Ramires
  13. See once again your looking at it very negatively mate. Reading had a good 25 minute spell, for the other 65 minutes we completely dominated them and had we taken our chances would have been out of sight. And your reasoning for the Newcastle game, surely we could just use the same excuse for the athletico game yesterday. Our tactics were good, we didn't allow Newcastle to get in the game and we were comfortable. Wigan we once again had our chances, Torres had something cleared off the line and should of won a penalty. That was probably our weakest game out of the three and it wasn't great, but we would have lost a game like season. We've definitely improved which is a good sign as the team are still settling
  14. Our squad is Goalkeepers: Cech, Turnbull, Hilario Defenders: Ivanovic, Azpilicueta, Terry, Cahill, Luiz, Cole, Bertrand, Ferreira Midfielders: Mikel, Lampard, Meireles, Romeu, Ramires, Oscar Attacking midfielders: Hazard, Moses, Mata, Marin, Oscar, Ramires, Malouda Strikers: Torres, Sturridge, Bamford/Piazon In terms of squad, the only teams in the premiership who have a better squad is City and arguably United (think we're pretty much on par, but they may have more quality maybe). We can talk about injuries, but it is all hypothetical. If Spurs lose Bale they'll be in trouble, if Arsenal lose Cazorla they'll be in trouble, if United lose Evra there in trouble. Our squad is easily good enough to get top 4 as well as put up a fight in the cup competitions. Add a CM and Striker and it's good enough to challenge for the League
  15. No offence, but you've literally just taken the squad and looked at it in the most negative light possible
  16. What a joke. Win 3 games on the trot and then a bad performance and all of a sudden he's not the right man. Give the guy a chance for fuck sake. I honestly think he can't win, he get criticised for every little thing whether it's team selection, playing Bertrand. Unbelievable
  17. The reason why Robbie has gone with Ramires is because Ramires always delivered in the big games and with Moses being in his first week of training, your always going to go with experience. It's much easier to ease a new signing into things rather than rush them into things. We all like to see new signings play because we're fans, but tbh Robbie has been sensible in his decision
  18. Has there been a single game this season so far that Robbie's team selection hasn't been criticised?!
  19. David Barnard, Chelsea club secretary, on possible transfers said yesterday: "Never say never." Hmmm. I think the club are planning something
  20. Gutted that he's going to Spurs. Very good player
  21. Knowing tottenham, darth Levy's bid is probably 10m + another 10m to be paid over the next 10 years. Stupid club
  22. Would like to see: Cech Ivanovic Cahill Luiz Cole Meireles Mikel Moses Mata Hazard Torres Subs: Turnbull, Bertrand, Azpilicueta, Ramires, Lampard, Sturridge, Oscar But i'd totally understand if Robbie goes with Lampard and Ramires in there instead of Meireles and Moses
  23. Bloomin hell, my comment only comes from the fact that at the bridge the other day a few people were making comments like 'he's still only a baby' and stuff along those lines when in fact he's married and thus has a degree of responsibility and commitment in his life. That's all
