Bright side is if we do happen to lose this, it may spur the board to hurry up on those transfers!

Past 5 PL winners began their season on Monday Night Football. Man i hate stats like that, when there not in our favor. Lol

Fox didn't screw it up. http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/thegoalkeeper/Fox-Sports-2015-16-Bundesliga-television-schedule.html

Exactly. Yaya was THE MAN, but in this new potential setup, Sterling and KDB will help carry the load and actually make his job easier. The distribution of workload will help. I've said it before, but KDB is one of my fav footballers, and it would absolutely crush me to see him in the Sky Blue of City. Praying to the high heavens Bayern Munich tell KDB they'll buy him after this season. Just don't come back to the EPL, please KDB!

The worse thing about this ordeal, is that Hazard the player that JM always praises for being honest and never cheating the game. ASKED for the physios to be brought on! You couldn't write this stuff. I swear lmaoo
-
JM is very adverse to just putting our best XI against another top teams best XI and hoping our players are just better on the day like Pellers and Le Voyeur do for every big-game. And i get why he doesn't do it. (Not that I always agree with that mindset) But for this game, I would play same line-up from Saturday. Too much offensive quality is lost when Oscar is replaced with Rambo, or any other changes are made. We've seen it time and time again. If JM is worried about Cesc getting over-run in midfield its just a risk you gotta take. The lack of transfer activity for a Witsel/Koke type of CM has ensured the lack of options we have for these big games. As for Ivanovic vs Sterling. Its another risk that can be attributed soley to JM's loyalty to him. All we can do is pray he performs better.

What's with the ultimatum? People can work disagreements out man. JM was clearly in the wrong here, and airing the dispute to the media was low. But i'm positive he has already apologized/talked it out with Eva.
-
Will all the people on TC who predicted Arsenal to take the league this year please stand up, please stand up?
-
People can work things out. I'm no expert in marriage but isn't that the way it works? (Not trying to be condescending here, im only 18 lol) JM imo belongs at Chelsea FC, we were built for each other. And if the board are becoming penny pinchers then there's no manager i'd rather have to squeeze the most out these players than him....well, Maybe Le Voyeur Any-who, i'd just like to see JM get some real signings that he wants and not cheaper alternatives. Unlike some at the moment, I really believe that CFC can do some great things in the coming years with the proper investments in players. But over the past couple of days everything around the club seems so dark, lots of bad vibes, hopefully that will change soon. Would like to hear your take.

What do we gain/lose on the pitch by having a neat tidy Net Spend comparable to our rivals? I havent lost hope that we'll sign some players, but the penny pinching and rumblings of unrest from JM about the lack of signings do not sit well with me. Hope its nothing.

We're teetering on a very fine line where we're trying to make-up for all those free spending years and change public perception that we no longer will be held hostage to clubs' demand of inflated tranfer fees. But this window we look to be only fooling ourselves if we take this high and mighty approach to 'balancing the books'. Man U have spent shit ton of money, and City got their man Sterling and paid the premium without blinking. Costa and Cesc were such great value buys that rarely ever get done in today's market. I dont see the harm in paying whatever it take to get Stones and to get Koke (tho £46M is quite a bit if they indeed did turn that down). What do we gain/lose on the pitch if we have a neat tidy Net Spend?

These players are not robots. Will say though, One thing about Hazard that I notice is that whenever the team is in a bad place ( Spurs Away, Maribor away after he missed the PK, Burnley at Home or Today w/10 men, there are some other i just cant remember right now) Hazard plays at such an insane level, magical really, that you wonder why he didn't play like that from the start. But on the flip side, from those games i mentioned, his efforts never seem to been rewarded (in carrying us to 3pts), and that kills me everytime. Because in the flip of a switch Hazard today played at 150% doing all he could but nothing was coming off. I'm not saying Hazard has never carried the team, i'm talking about those instances when we're down a man or losing by 2+ goals, it pains me to see his incredible effort never rewarded. At the end of the day, I still love this man, and always brigs a smile watching him skip past defenders with ease.

They grow up so fast... Time to elect a new man of the people!
-
i dont think its nearly as bad as people are making it out to be. Just need to tidy up a bit. Also our pressing has been poor, Arsenal pass their way out of it too many times. Lads need to wake up.
-
Lmaoo i watched it too. Lord Bendtner pulled a Drogba 2012 UCL Final hahaha

BBC created a poll with questions to determine which PL manager you would be. Link: http://m.bbc.com/sport/football/33609642 My Result: "Solid, Dependable, and a safe pair of hands. You're basically Tony Pulis. You might not be fashionable but you're effeftive, mid-table beckons." Who did yall get?

Think @WHS, @TheSkipper, @Sheva, @DYC would all be brilliant Mods.

Predictions for 2015/16 season?
Blue-in-me-Veins replied to MrBlueGuy's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
*Assuming no Sexy signings (in CM/CAM/ST) are made for CFC and Man City. PL: Think it will be tight af between Us and City. City have doubled down on their philosphy of attacking/scoring teams to oblivion, and wouldn't be surprised to see many 4-1 scorlines from them. But lets not forget Yaya Toure was abysmal in CM in the spring and they still haven't corrected that issue. I'm not saying Yaya's trash, but you never which Yaya will show up it seems. Is Delph the answer? I doubt it. Will Aguero stay healthy? Reports are he's going to miss the begininng of the season. Will City's defense be solid? Kompany/Mangala had season's to forget. As for Chelsea FC. We're placing a lot of hope in many different players. Oscar: Will he make the jump, be more consistent, be trusted in big games? Rambo: will he be a viable option in Midfield and return to 2012 form and score goals? Moses: Will he be our super sub of sorts, help create havoc for the defense, and score the timely goals? Traore: WIll he adapt to the PL, and hopefully score a couple goals, and grow as a player? He's only a youngin so patience will be needed Mikel: Will he be healthy this season (was out for large stretches last season) and be our answer to the Big game crisis? Falcao: WIll he play so well and make JM find ways to put him in the starting XI maybe even a 442? Cuadrado: Will he stop his frequent meetings with the floor? These are many questions. And you got to ask yourself how many do you think will come good? I'm not entirely confident in many of those players but I so hope they prove me wrong. Also, our run-in in the begining of the season is difficult AF! West Brom/Man City/Everton/West Ham away all before October. Jesus! Wonder how we'll do. FA Cup: I think we'll go far, been way too long since we last won it, and there's no way Arsenal are winning it 3x over. I like our chances, and our history with the Cup has been great, at least Semi's imo, if not Final. COC: I think another Bradford City type of loss where we lose to a Championship/League One Level team. It's Chelsea, and when we lose it seems to be in heart-breaking fashion. Champions League: Think we'll may be bounced in Quarters. And we draw a team like Real Madrid/Atletico Madrid. Also wouldn'be be surpised if we drew Real Madrid in our Group Stage tbh. This is not me being pessimistic. Just trying to look at things realistically. City have issues like every other team, and it'll be interesting to see if they prevail or not. With Man United, i just think they'll lose steam either in the beginning or end at some point. Their beginning schedule is easy on the eye with a lot of tough matches at home. They'll be in the thick of things no doubt, might even lead the table for the first couple months, but subsequently either Us or City take charge. Arsenal: . Play well either 1st or 2nd half of season, suffer a lot of injuries, rinse repeat.
