exactly!!! although i'd rather anelka get his ass shipped to america and replace the dead weight with YOUNG UPCOMING PLAYERS!! not 27 year olds but 25 and younger so they will blend with our developing youth. AVB's stlye can work but lets face it only against the weaker teams does it look good. when man u and arsenal come along (teams that have great compsure on the ball) it fails dramatically. the only reason why barcelona do it so well is because of the intimidatiing factor that they carry, if we could carry out his philosophy to is greatest extent then we would finally return to our trophy winning days!!!

look at what romeu did today against wolves!!! then we tell kids josh and lukaku to hold up and playwit the reserves!!! how irritating it is!! matches against teams in the bottom half of the table need have them on the team sheets instead of draining the legs of all our 30somethings. PVA is of great talent but we just continue to give him the end around by loaning him to all corners of england!! put the youth that we've invested heavily into and watch they may just impress us like romeu did today!!

hernanes was having the game of his life against juventus today!!would love him in our squad, although our management team never recognizes great young kids with potential, they prefer to buy them when they cost 35m eurosas apposed to 10m euros.

another main reason why i personally believe that our attack is not as good is because we lack that joe cole/nani type player in our squad. someone that can run and run and run for the full 90 and have great ball skills (besides ramires cause he's the only one we got)! and someone that can beat a man 1v1 anyday and attract a double team constantly like nani. that would go a hell of a long way in helping studge, mata, and torres!!

AVB needs to sack some players which is agreed. (kalou, anelka, bosingwa, mikel, malouda) though he should have tried way harder to get "his own men" and not try and change 30somethings into a style of play they have never played in their lives!! A.perriera and modric should have been here from the beginning of the year!! AVB will have a great young squad by next year, but this year will defineately be a learning curve for him.

I'd personally like to see a toni kroos/adel taarabt type player join our squad. they're not linked with us, but would love to see them in our squad!! however i'd rather we bought a winger first who can cross, and do a lot of it, while beat a man 1v1. we dont have that bale/nani in our squad that can draw a double team (unless you really think rbs are losing sleep the night before they face the invincible malouda.) :541:

I agree that if torress is given 3-4 straight matches then finally our attack would be as deadly as it is on paper. this bullsh*t of giving toress and drogba each equal chances is ruining our team!! if that gets sorted out and replace deadweight kalou and anelka with stevan jovetic/hazard/toni kroos (i just personally like him we're not linked with him) hahahaha!

I agree that we should have no track around the stadium at all!!! up close and intimidating! hopefully also a standing terrace (which is highly unlikely), however if the new stadium has enough luxury booths then maybe that can make up the difference if we had one.

You know it was funny listening to CA say that he was going to start using youth in the carling cup like arsenal do!!! seems like that won't be happening at all this year! we're the worst at promoting youth and its a shame that Josh won't get those consistent chances. league games against norwich, and wba should have josh and bertrand and lukaku on the team sheet first!! pisses me off!

love torres hate the style of play he's making us turn to. now we have to let maouda go (which i have no problem with) and get a hazard/stevan jovetictype player. and another cm to replace lampard and faster dm. but other than that i love torres. (not to mention the change in tactics thats cost us a few games this year if not all of our losses!)

Laylabelle is right my God genk were still going strong even when they were being hammered!!! They need to create a terrace stand for the die hards so we can rock the stadium. but all i hear is "yeah!!!!!!" when they score and boos when they're performing badly. hopefully the new stadium will allow us to create that stand because sooner or later you'll hear a pin drop in the stadium. Liverpool got together and fixed they're problem with their fans yet we just sit there and watch everybody out sing us.

That game against Leverkusen summed up last seasons campaign and sadly looks like it will this year too. I agree with RottenBanana & OllieCFC plus how long are we goin to have to try and defend this heartless play!! We need someone like a joe cole back in our squad. i dont care who or what position he plays just someone that will run and run and run for the complete 90. not stare at the ball being passed by the opposition. AVB should have also given his all to get A.Perriera from Porto. and a replacment to the lost cause in the modric saga. (you think he really wants to come here now??) This squad lacks competition, we dont have someone that can take Ashley Cole's spot. or someone to challenge lampard in the cm role. or someone to challenge mikel (who in all honesty needs to be benched till january.) man u can leave berbatov out and send him a message, but over here its the constant drogba then torres, then drogba then torres etc.etc. rotation. its simply a replay of last year and we'll make the same dumb overeaction purchase like last year. WATCH!!

Yea thats right get another striker to take away a spot from sturridge!! unless and only if we get anelka and kalou out of the sqaud then yess. but lets put all this aside and get another midfielder/winger to complement mata, and a different dm!! not another one of those panic buys like last year!!
