I am not sure we have spent money on the wrong person other than you know who. We just started our rebuilding process a little bit late. We should have started during ancelotti era. All of our key players were in their late prime and by the time they moved past their prime we didn't have anybody to replace them so we have to buy ready player (they are usually more expensive). Now what we have is a imbalance squad with very young key players. I actually believe that torres is supposed to be the guy for our team since last year but we all know it is not going to happen

I think arsenal problem is in the transfer market. Not really sure who is responsible for it. They keep trying to sign cheaper player without ever signing big time player. Arsenal was lucky that henry, viera , etc became such super player. If they don't then you need to buy star player to improve your team otherwise You will be stuck in the same level
