I don't think oscar is the problem. Since RDM took over, he moved danny to bech player. He was first team player under AVB

Danny has been outstanding for Liverpool and BR did very good job to play him as cf when defending to offset his defensive liabilities. I really don't want to say this but some of the blame has to be given to RDM, he was first team player under avb and he became just backup player since RDM took over.

Let's look at pardew for example. He looks like genius last year. Tons of injury this season, he looks like idiot. Then he made plenty of signing suddenly he looks like genius again.

I think it is more up to lampard to adapt his game, he is no longer our key players. Our team and our midfield for years was built around lampard. We played inverted triangle midfield to let lampard bomb forward. Now our team is built around mata and hazard, it's up to lampard to adapt his game to pivot role

Personally I don't really buy tradition. It's all come down to players and of course luck. and I agree that most belgium players are still too young for 2014 but I like their players

I think belgium current crop is just fantastic. In international tournament like WC, it all comes down to DEFENSE, belgium has Kompany,vermaalen,vertonghen + Fellaini/ I forget who is the zenit player. and offensively you got hazard,mirallas, dembele =)) That is why I don't see Argentina winning WC, lol everybody said Messi has super team (aguero,di maria, higuain) .
