Like you said willian is your squad player. You can't have a star as your 3rd option. Finding an upgrade over willian is not required right now because we have far more urgent need on wb and backup for our midfield. Once this problems are solved we can start thinking about upgrading our right wing option.

There are question marks about Pedro being a starter. We've need someone close to Hazard's level on the right for years now. Why? Pedro is a fantastic complimentary player. He press hard, run back and does need the ball to be effective hence we can let hazard to have the ball all the time. Plus he scored plenty of crackers last years.

But imagine if Alonso is inured, we have to Pedro there, he is not a wb or we play azpi there where he gave us 0 threat going forward. And like yesterday bakayoko is injured. We have to play cesc + Kante against big side and it was a disaster. It was obvious we need wb + 1 mid

This. Michy is imo better finisher than Costa but he need to learn that in this team your role as a striker is not just to score. He need to learn to combine with wingers, run the channel hard, drop deeper to give our mid passing outlet and don't just stay in the middle all the time, move.
