Maybe it's time we part ways with Kakuta. He's got talent but his lack of consistency is worrying.. Also, we just signed Hazard, Marin and it looks like Moses or Hulk should be joining Chelsea at some point in the next 2 weeks...hence he has just fallen even further down the pecking order. Sell him to a French club for a decent fee (possibly could include a buy-back clause...just incase he turns into an okay player).

Don't see Moses as anything more than a benchwarmer. I believe Martinez' opinion on Moses is the best. He needs another season of full development at a club like Wigan before moving onto a top club.

Your saying some unknown Guatemalan midfielder is gonna move from the MLS to a top EPL club. No chance. He needs to prove himself at a mid-level club like Fulham, Stoke first. In terms of midfield prospects, I would of suggested Milan Badelj from Dinamo Zagreb (same club as Luka) and apparently he's done almost as well as Luka in recent times....sadly though, Hamburg snapped him up for 11 million.

RvP looks to be staying at Arsenal. I don't see Fergie paying 200k a week for a 29 yr old injury prone striker, regardless of how much talent he has.

Signing M'Vila or Capoue would be perfect. They've been two of the better performing midfielders in Ligue 1 of recent times...and they'd be available for only 15 million. If Spurs can bid 15 mil for M'Vila, why can't we?

Don't see this deal going through. Has a contract until 2016, Porto are under no pressure to sell, just like Spurs who have complete control over Modric.

Expectations: League - 3rd, hopefully either Manchester club stuffs up and we can take 1st or 2nd. Fa Cup - don't really mind. why not, Essien is just an average midfielder now, haven't seen much of Romeu since his poor olympics showing and Meireles isn't really a DM....hence our only DM in the first team is Mikel, which is quite frightening.

Mikel had a poor game, he's had a fairly pathetic preseason. Mikel's never been a great midfielder for Chelsea, apart from last season under RDM, he's been a weak link in our team...so no surprises if he has absolute shite games. We should of added another midfielder by now. I'm surprised we didn't bid on Asamoah, who ended up joining Juventus for only 16 million.

How would you know what we'll be seeing in this window, your not Roman Abramovich or Di Matteo.

Ramires looked extremely poor as a RB. He'd probably do even worse as a RWB cause any decent LW/LWB would own him one on one & be able to put in dangerous crosses with ease. Playing 3 at the back is just not an option for Chelsea. This isn't FM where you can instantly change your formation, play the game and expect your team to perform well. Our best formations would be: 4-2-3-1, 4-3-2-1 (the two being Hazard & mata), 4-3-3.

Hutchinson didn't impress me at all. Thought he looked nervous and lacked quite a bit of pace. Even Chalobah looked more confident than him at RB.

IMO, your opinion is wrong. Hulk is overrated and no other club wants him apart from Zenit who offered 20 million. We should of gone after Cazorla. Only 15 million for a talented playmaker/winger at his peak.

I'd have to say that Man City signing M'Vila makes sense. Spurs don't look like their losing Modric to RM and they've gotten Huddlestone back from injury.

I don't see Moses playing CF at Chelsea or any other top premier league club. I would assume that Ramires would play some games at RW because he is effective in that position. I know there are plenty of talkChelsea.net users who go crazy when someone mentions Ramires playing RW....but the fact of the matter is, I don't see Ramires playing effectively as a CM in a 4-2-3-1 formation in the near future. We need a CM/DM to complement Lamps and Mikel cause Essien is nowhere near what he used to be...and Meireles is an average substitute player.

Kakuta isn't a hard worker like Lukaku though. And apparently he wasn't given opportunities at Bolton & Fulham whilst on loan because he didn't speak good english and he didn't fully understand the coach's tactical instructions. I personally have a gut feeling that Lukaku will have a loan spell like McEachran did at Swansea. He'll be on the bench for most of the games but the coach won't play him because it's a tight game and he lacks experience.
