"My Tram Experience" - Outrageously disgusting
manpe replied to TacticalBlues's topic in General Chat
This video supports my opinion that in addition to driver's license, people should get parenting license before being allowed to have a child... it would comprise of heavy psychiatric evaluations, background check and parenting courses covering the basics. Bad parenting destroys far more lives than we can imagine, car accidents are probably trifling in comparison. Life is worthless as it is, it's even more worthless with shit parents. -
What if Torres is a liverpool spy/assassin? Sent here to purposely undermine our ambitions, whilst helping out bindippers with 50 million £. It all adds up
-
Sturridge if we get someone for the right wing... but obviously we would have to get a new striker because only Danny and Lukaku wouldn't be enough
-
If he keeps at it, then do we even need to buy Cahill or anybody else? We have Kalas lurking around also
-
Having an opinion on a player and hoping he would become the best (supporting him more than anybody else) are two different things... I think 99% of football-close folks consider Ronaldo to be an incredible player. Do you want him to be at his incredible best when facing Chelsea though? I doubt any fan would want that. I think TX had something like that in mind. If that's of any help, I'm hoping Sturridge becomes the best He's like Balotelli+brains
-
No, actually I'm glad we don't have him, he's probably a negative character to have around the dressing room when he's unhappy imo. I don't rate players solely on ability, but also on personality and intelligence (as JM said, personality goes a long way in football)... And you have taken this all wrong, my point was based on the fact I don't want City to become stronger in order for Chelsea to remain more competitive in the league.. It doesn't automatically mean envy, I don't envy City or any other fans, but I do think in terms of how something what happens in other teams relates to my team.. and having a player better than Messi and Ronaldo playing against us wouldn't be good.. Btw, I believe Balotelli has once said he was better than Messi So he already is the best player in the world, if you believe him.
-
He can go and become the best in the world outside the EPL, otherwise I agree with Term X, we shouldn't want City to have even more Agüeros in their team Afaic, he's just an entertaining buffoon..
-
I'm not saying his subs weren't justified, they were because they were forced. I'm just saying he was denied more gametime because of unluck in those 2 games. And my point was that he played in those 2 CC games and it would be logical for him to start again, especially since he has had the least gametime out of the youngsters. Taking into consideration 'pool will come with shit players and/or tired legs, it will be the perfect opportunity to give our not-so-good players a chance nevertheless instead of going for the jugular. And about his stamina... I can't comment on that, I'm not familiar with his fitness level.
-
Never got mad at you... But Josh has started all 2 CC matches to date, in both of them he got subbed off quite early because of the rest of the team's fuck ups.

Chelsea stars visit young fan from Gütersloh (Germany)

Absolutely magnificent... I especially liked AVB's gesture of giving his tie and saying it's for his marriage. No doubt he will wear it in the future -
Why? It's the league cup... AVB has said that it's a competition for youngsters no matter who the opposition is. If he doesn't stick to his word, then I might have to reevaluate my rather positive opinion of him.
-
agreed, utter waste of money
-
Everyone makes mistakes, he will make one sooner or later... that's part of the learning curve. With this logic, he should be overlooked for the next 3-4 years just out of fear. My point being, if he was on loan, then he can make mistakes and learn from them in another club (without having to slate AVB, as some ignorant users would undoubtedly do), not literally rotting like he is doing here. And I don't think Josh is playing for the reserves either, he's just idling.
-
Only one man was involved in all 3 goals today, so my vote is obvious
-
IF he was on the bench, and I'm pretty sure even then he wouldn't have got the chance, Lampard needs the experience more obviously.. instead, we had game-winners Kalou and Malouda there.
-
Dalglish has imo said he will field a weaker side in protest of playing 2 games in 3 days... and AVB has said that no matter who the opposition is, we will play our youngsters (and fringe players).. And considering Terry needs a rest anyway, it was unlikely he was going to play.. and I doubt he would have done that if he hadn't known that.
-
So Josh doesn't get to play against Wolves with 3-0 up.. instead, Lampard is given the magnificent opportunity to gain experience, because he has so little of it. What message does this send to our nr. 20? He should be loaned out asap, no doubt about that anymore after today. And yes, he is going to probably play against Liverpool on tuesday, but it's not like he needed rest or anything.. if anything, he needed more match fitness to be ready for the game. Now I'm not surprised if he will look rusty against 'pool and will get written off by knee-jerks. EDIT: On a second look, he wasn't even on the bench. Is he injured or smth? If not, then things are even worse. King Salomon made the bench instead alongside Ryan Malouda, our 2 future hopefuls. I'm usually very patient, but this is getting very annoying.
-
Because he wasn't going to play that game anyway and now he has a clean slate
-
Actually on second thought it might have been a good yellow by Terry. If he knew he wasn't going to play on Tuesday, which is very likely, then now he has a clean slate of yellows and he will serve his pointless suspension. So, a good call for him individually. First half performance was good, second half performance was average. Man of the match, for me, is Mata.
-
WTF was Terry doing there... intentionally taking a yellow with 3-0 up? Unless he knew he wasn't going to play on Tuesday.
-
If McEachran can't come on against Wolves with 3-0 up, then there really is no hope for him.. and Drogba has been dire, why is he still on

The Jose era players miss the dominance of the manager, I feel... Jose took all the kicks and punches to himself to protect his players and now they are too spoilt to deal with the kicks themselves, they all look to the manager as if they were their babysitter. It's all about authority, you can't lead a group of men if you lack it.. it's been this way in every field - armies, businesses, families. The sooner AVB makes his authority count, the better it is for us. It's hard for him now because those players have played under many stronger personalities in football, they don't care if the man is a tactical genius or not... And the best way to deal with this situation is to get the players he needs and who will respect him. The ultimate say though, is Roman's... It's his backing to the manager is the most important thing, if he backs the players, then we're fucked once again.

Premier League may get goal line technology next season
manpe replied to xPetrCechx's topic in Football Chat
Football is 2 teams playing to win... referees just spoil it if they suck, and they can continue sucking with on-field decisions, but legit goals MUST be counted when they cross the line or not counted when they do not - it is the single most important thing in football and it's an area which should be dealt with without any shadow of a doubt and controversy, unlike penalty decisions or which team to give the odd throw in.. Remember the phantom goal that fucked us over? I'm all for that technology. -
AVB in meeting with Roman, and Di Matteo out?
manpe replied to YouNameIt's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Abramovich should have already learned from his mistakes.. He signs flop players like Sheva and Torres, he should stop forcing shit down managers' throats..
