  1. I know he hasn't been good but that's stretching it. For all his bad overall play, Diego has one of the best if not the best goal scoring ratios in Chelsea. Can't say the same about the other two, especially Torres who was useless all around.
  2. As we so often see teams are totally different beasts at home. They have 3 away goals, 2-0 or 3-1 is very achievable. This CL season is crazy as hell anyway, anything can happen.
  3. I agree, Gattuso is a better comparison. However he was a dirty player with discipline issues, Kante is a very clean tackler.
  4. Tbh the more I see him play and evolve, the more I realize how wrong comparisons to Makelele are. Maka was a pure holding midfielder, the purest 6 you can find. However Phil Neville said well, that he is 6, 8 and 10 three players in one. His only similarities to Maka are skin colour, height and shiny scalp. Different players.
  5. In the video he started walking towards Jose, but went back half-way and nothing happened. It didn't show what happened next, but I doubt he went back later to scream at him because of that weak kick that didn't even hit him.
  6. Yeah, it was Valencia. Utd's best player on the day btw, if I was him I would be pissed with Jose's comments about Pogba being a "monster". Pog was wank, don't remember him doing anything. Valencia on the other hand put in a decent shift, but he doesn't have blonde hair and an emoji so he can be disregarded.
  7. No, there is a video that shows Conte walking over to Mourinho after Jose kicked the ball, but he didn't do anything. Different situations. Also how the F can Rojo get away with so much? I clearly remember at least two 2 footed tackles that should have been red carded this season but he wasn't, and now this.
  8. So yesterday was a typical 2017 Costa performance minus the goal. How do you rate it? Your striker isn't going to score every game, when he doesn't he needs to show something else otherwise he becomes detrimental. Yesterday he killed so many chances for us and lost so much possession it was not funny, it was like watching an amateur player, seriously. And the yellow card he picked up was stupid, it started off by him trying a dribble which reminded more of some Benny Hill sketch and then dove in with no chance to get there in time, completely unnecessary. And he knows nobody is going to replace him no matter what he does or doesn't do, except time-waste Batshuayi for the last 3 seconds. That performance yesterday was worse than I thought he could produce. He better get his shit together or China will be his only suitor.
  9. Great to see him being protected by the ref. Props to Michael Oliver for having the balls to paint a target on his back (not sure he would have done it at Old Trafford though). And Jose himself ranted a couple of years back how Hazard wasn't protected well enough, now he sends his thugs to kick the shit out of him and when his main thug gets sent off he moans.. again. Whatever, Eden was on a mission to show Pogba and co. exactly how to play football. I also wonder if best ever player Neymar could handle such treatment for 5 straight years without major injuries and hissy fits. I have a feeling he would dive so hard here he would reach the Earth's core.
  10. That team, with everybody at their peaks, would be unbeatable. My God we fostered some incredible players. I would only replace Kante with Maka, too soon for him, he's still a Chelsea rookie and i would rather take Maka to CL final with me.
  11. Hazard doesn't suit Real's aura at all imo. The club mostly consists of egomaniacs from top to bottom, he's far too chill and laid-back guy to fit in there. There's also immense pressure playing there, you must always perform, but who knows maybe it would benefit him. I just feel that we are a much better fit to Hazard as a club and a team.
  12. The first part is to you, second part is for anybody bitching about him. Didn't see necessary to make a separate post for this.
  13. Word. One other thing - it was mentioned that Neymar, the greatest player of all time, has scored 8 goals in La Liga for the greatest club of all time. Eden Hazard, the incompetent fool who has phobia of shooting, has scored 11 in the English Premier League for a team that finished 10th last year. Now I may not have been the best at maths in school and I barely passed my exams, but I'm pretty sure 11 > 8.
  14. Nah man that's bad news, because he would never play a pass like Neymar did yesterday. How will we ever cope with that?
  15. It is not a problem. This is why you have different players in the squad, to give balance and not be one-dimensional. I feel Pedro compensates what Eden lacks very well and Eden compensates what Pedro lacks. This is one of the reasons why we have been so good this season going forward as opposed to when Hazard and Willian were playing together. Hazard is or at least should be a central player like he prefers and like he has been this season. He is more a playmaker than a runner and scorer, every Chelsea fan should have figured it out by now. If you force Hazard to be something he is not you take away the positives from his game (see last season for reference). And people saying he would never play a ball like Neymar yesterday and other shit should get a grip. Unprovoked negativity, Hazard had absolutely nothing to do with yesterday's game yet he's still brought up over here in bad light. It's alarming to me that you rate our star player so poorly that you bash him every time you get a stiff one on something somebody else in some other team does. Would Neymar have scored THAT goal against Arsenal? Let's think about that for a second. Sometimes I get these evil thoughts and wish he would just go, so I could read those same people crying and moaning like always. You lot deserve Kalouda.
  16. We could and should actually if we're counting Sanchez, he also wouldn't come straight from Barca. So there you go, we are the club for Barcelona rejects and pensioners
  17. As a neutral football fan I enjoyed that game very much. What a comeback! I cheered, not because I love Barcelona, but because I witnessed an historic football match. Eclipsed only by Liverpool Milan in 2005 of the comebacks I have seen because it was in a final.
  18. You know we had great injury record before Conte too? It's credit to our fitness and medical team. And no, this is not the best Chelsea team ever. Our 09/10 team would wreck them.
