But riddle me this: Would you think the same if he was a random Congolese player from Ligue 1, who had the same hype as Luke did a few years ago, then moved to a genuinely big team and hasn't produced a decent season since? It is doubtful that Christensen and Rüdiger are upgrades on GC at this moment, so I wouldn't be surprised if he at least started the season as a regular.
