  1. I personally thought everyone had a very good game... especially Cech, Luiz, Oriol and Ramires...
  2. Ramires' most under-rated strength is his pace... I've seen fewer players run quicker with the ball at their feet. With Mata and Sturridge we have pacey wide outlets, but people also underestimate Drogba's skill and speed; his intelligence and movement created all three goals yesterday.
  3. I can't see Torres here next season unless he suddenly ups his game. In two games, Drogba has completely out-done and out-classed Torres' whole season in every department. His attitude is phenomenal - you saw him miss that chance when Mata put him through, but you knew he'd beat the shit out of another defender and score the next time. When Torres misses, you expect it - and then you don't expect him to pick himself up after it. Confidence (maybe even arrogance) is what separates the good from the brilliant, and that is what puts Drogba in the bracket above Torres at present. He might be getting older and his ability to consistently bully teams may have diminished, but when Drogba turns it on for half-an-hour, you have your game-winner.
  4. Chelsea vs Manchester City Premier League Monday 12 December - 8pm kick-off
  5. There wasn't a single bad performer last night. I thought Raul gave the ball away a little too often, but his positional play and support running were both excellent last night. Lampard was hardly missed. Ramires and Oriol were outstanding; Terry and Luiz were solid, Cech pulled off a hat-trick of very, very good saves, but Drogba was absolutely stunning. Best I've seen him play for a long, long time.
  6. Don't waste your time arguing with Henrique, he always sticks to his guns. An admirable quality, but it leaves him with egg on his face more often than not.
  7. That was like watching the old Chelsea again... Terry dominant, Cech fantastic and Drogba just ass-raping defenders with skill, speed and strength. Jizz-worthy, tbh.
  8. No Lampard... very surprised. AVB making a statement after Frank's childish strop at the weekend.

  10. There always has to be something to complain about. Poor Paulo, what a faithful servant to the club he has been. Can't we go back to bashing Torres again, at least he deserves it.
  11. I feel confident about this one. Now I've said that we're destined for the Europa League We like doing things the hard way. Time to stand up and be counted, get behind your team for fucking once and support the side no matter the outcome. COME ON YOU BLUES! <3
  12. Oriol at CB would be less of a risk as far as I'm concerned... it's a massive risk, but I don't fancy seeing Bertrand or Ferreira, who have far fewer minutes under their belts than Oriol, playing against City.
  13. OR... we could win tonight, get a draw on Monday and see this as the start of a brilliant run. Too many glass-half-empty types on here.
  14. People say one bad game isn't enough to judge players like Drogba or Torres or Lampard... but Terry has one good game and suddenly he's the best CB in the world again.
  15. Couldn't give a shit about another uninspiring Chelsea 3rd round game - I'm off to Goodison to watch Everton v Tamworth, my hometown team!
  16. Wish them both the best - its in their best interests that they move on, and I have nothing against that. Both loyal servants and wonderful players.
  17. Oriol is a real talent, very excited about this kid!!
  18. We need to be more realistic about Hutch, very little chance of him making an immediate comeback to the first team. Playing reserve games is one thing, playing against Gareth Bale, David Silva or Nani is another.
  19. Coming from a decent source as Sam's mate at Cobham broke the news about Hutchinson's return.
  20. I go away for a weekend, come back and see topics like this? WTF is going on with this forum atm?!
