We're all passionate Chelsea supporters, right? We all have our own opinions on the Benitez appointment, Fernando Torres' general uselessness, the contract fiasco surrounding Cole and Lampard and even Eden Hazard's backside, but that doesn't mean we have to rip other people to pieces. I've seen an increasing amount of threads over the last week or so where people seem to lack the intelligence to not completely despoil their arguments with unnecessary offensive words. Sure, you might think that it's funny. Honestly though - it isn't. It is tedious and makes you look like a bit of a moron, in reality - resorting to obscenities, to me, is merely a surefire indicator you've nothing more intelligent to add. Nobody wants to read it. May I take this opportunity to remind all users that we at TalkChelsea operate a zero-tolerance attitude towards offensive language towards our members. We are all here to discuss a common love - Chelsea Football Club - and upsetting other members, causing them to complain is a contravention of the right of all of our users; which is to be able to express their own opinion on issues surrounding the Club itself. Any member caught doing this will be issued an appropriate warning to the discretion of the acting Moderator. This will normally be a Level 2 warning, which instantly triggers a 3-, 5-, 7- or 14-day suspension, depending on the severity of the incident. We don't want to read your stupid, unintelligible remarks. Attack the reasoning, not the user. Best regards, The TalkChelsea.net Staff

May I remind you that whilst we at TalkChelsea encourage debate between members, it is also the prerogative of each individual to keep their content clean. Attack the reasoning, and not the poster. Anyone who contravenes this will be handed a Level 2 warning for insulting other members and will receive a seven-day suspension. You have been warned, Alex.

Yeah, what they said. Also I've had a shit day so I'm going to smother this with banhammer and say anyone who deviates this topic any further will be deviated to the banned members group. You have been warned, bitches.

I don't know how well informed you are with the British press, but The Sun is used in most homes as toilet paper. You should never, ever read one of their articles and take it at face value, they are the worst offenders in Britain for hyperbolic journalism.

Frank Lampard outwitted and outnumbered - funny!

How the shit did I not see that before? Haha!! -
There was also a third girl, but she was a little lower down. #Player

I don't know, but I'd love the man even more if he did. Hail King Carlo! On a side note, we should never have sacked Carlo. Would rather have him here than Benitez, big time.
-
At the minute that isn't a problem as we only have Ba, but I see what you mean should we go and sign another forward in the summer, ie. Cavani, Falcao or Lewandowski.

Picture of Lukaku celebrating his second goal yesterday:
-
Knew he'd be a hit in this league. I liked him at Marseilles and I remember Lyon were linked with him a couple of years back. Firstly he is a great defender and extremely athletic, but crucially he is also brilliant in an attacking sense. Beautiful cross for the first goal today.
-
Not been good enough from either side in the final third thus far. Either the final ball has been lacking, or the shooting has been poor - story of our season.
-
Ba starts, I will watch this one then Also feel infinitely more confidence with name CECH typed on the team-sheet.
-
Oh definitely. At this moment in time, you would be an idiot to disagree, I think. Juve, Bayern, Real and Barcelona are stronger teams, that is for sure. United are historically one of, if not the biggest club in world football, and you can say that with teams like Dortmund emerging as well, we are behind them too. We are obviously a big club but even in spite of last season's heroics, I don't think we're the team that we were. The same applies for English football in general, I would say. On a historical scope, we are a relatively new kid on the block, especially in comparison to the millions of PSG and Manchester City, for instance. The really big clubs are the absolute top level. At present, under the Fat Spanish Waiter, I think we're a lot further behind them than we would like to admit.
-
Don't kid yourself. Juventus, Bayern, Milan, United, Real, Barcelona etc., will always be bigger clubs than Chelsea FC historically. Presently, those teams (bar Milan) are all more successful than us as well. Ergo, they are bigger clubs right now, as well.

Forgive me, but the person watching another game where Fernando Torres is the person making the 'dumb decision'.
-
He's just had a trim. Can't blame him, it looked like he was wearing a cape every time he ran.
-
This will be another case of the 'Drogba Myth'. Didier left a legend but there were times when he was absolutely lambasted by the majority of Chelsea supporters for insipid and lethargic performances, particularly in Carlo's second season. If you want an example, read the topics in the aftermath of the Marseille UCL game from 2010/11 when we lost 0-1 away. The same will happen with Lampard, who will leave the best player this club has ever had, but if you were going by this topic, you'd rank him as worse than Torres judging by the sort of comments you can read in this thread. Laughable, really.
-
No, people put Cahill in front of Luiz because Cahill doesn't try and dribble his way past four players instead of just simply clearing the ball.
-
Hazard was only ever going to be a short-term signing anyway. Regardless of success here, he strikes me as the sort of guy who wants to play for the very best, just like CR7. When we signed him I could only see him staying here for 2-3 years, using the Chelsea experience as a springboard, before moving to one of Europe's truly big clubs; ie. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, Juventus, etc.
-
If Demba Ba doesn't start I won't be watching today.
-
After we dicked all over Spurs in regards to the Mata and Cahill transfers, it's about fair that we let them go and over-pay by £10 million on this guy.
-
Who would want to come and manage this club? Instead of Mourinho and Guardiola we should be looking at Warnock and Steve Kean.
-
Forget sacking Rafa its a new board we need

Bruce Buck and Ron Gourlay are like a cyst that just won't fuck off. The sooner someone does the both of them around the head with a cricket bat, the better. -
To be fair, l'Equipe is probably the single best sports news source out there. Usually very reliable. (Roughly - my French is a bit shitty) translates as: With Frank Lampard certain to leave, Chelsea are looking for a new midfielder, and it could be Marouane Fellaini. The 25 year-old Belgian international is expected to sign for five years with the European Champions before the end of the week. The player will earn Everton €27 million, and he will be paid €5 million a year himself. Yet Manchester United are thought to be in a position to match the Blues' offer.
-
With this guy up front we comfortably finish in the top three. Whilst he's on the bench and we play with ten men, we'll struggle for Europa League mediocrity.
