im trying to get of work early so i can be home to watch this one... may have to fake illness :blue scalf:
-
chelsea doesn't release those numbers but i did find an article http://www.insideworldfootball.biz/premierleague/41-news/11723-van-persie-is-premier-leagues-top-scorer-in-north-american-replica-shirt-market that gives some insight
-
Only thing is Cork may tell Shaw not to come here n do you think he is better than Bertrand
-
what a celebration ahaha MOSES!!
-
Only real concern I have from QPR is Abel Tarabt even against pool he looked dangerous around 18 yard box..def will need to keep an eye on him
-
i noticed that as well while watching the match his run was not far enough from distin to give himself enough space and a chance to get his shot off
-
class is permenant
-
that goal though
-
i think the walcott thing is more of a stop gap as we could potentially lose an english born player in sturridge but falcao at least on the boards ppl have been talking about bringing him in for 2 seasons now.. but ppl like Bony i complete agree with your statement
-
had nothing to do really with his goals i was saying before our season started i wanted dzeko or a striker like dzeko his form is due to lack of playing time.. if he were the main guy at city he would have many more goals than he does now.. ppl say our striker needs link up play and needs to be clinical and feel falcao is the best option but i think a shout for dzeko is also warranted as he is also prem proven scorer
-
Guess he was good for something
-
currently on a has a hattrick vs norwich and game stil has 20 minutes remaining i think this guy would be great with our current team
-
you are right i would not but again he wouldn't be seen as our be all end all i just think we need more strength in other areas and he could do a job until june..
-
the thing about bringing in theo is that hes not meant to be the number one he just wants oppurtunities there just like danny.. but he can be a game changer off the bench with that pace played correctly his finishing has vastly improved since he first burst onto the scene and i think with the right mentality he could do a job here especially as he wont be seen as the long term fix to our striker concerns and about his display vs. wigan their style is different than the style we have been playing most recently i would like to see him in our system
-
and as it looks benitez gave moses a run at leading the line yesterday.. think about how theo would do coming off the bench with mata and hazard behind him and a tired back 4
-
ok so we are not so different in our views i admitted to that the schedule that RB had did lean in his favour and i also agree rdm could have won these games as well if using similair tactics but that would be assuming he would or wouldn't, all the extreme hate for rafa and the extreme love is way over board i think as supporters of our beloved club we need to take it a game at a time and when the season is over we then can give a proper assesment of his abilities as the manager of Chelsea Football Club!

I see your point about the fixtures the wins would come but he still had a job to do... and the tactics of rdm to an attacking style of football changed at Arsenal away.. that was the first game he started and played the trio.. but what i mean is not the clean sheets its the pressuring players filling in when a player vacates a spot to press thats what we didn't have more often when we did get caught out it was because no one filled the gap that was left when a player changed position in our attempt at free form football.. take for example super cup 2 of the goals conceeded were because when luiz pushed up the pitch mikel nor lamps dropped into CB to until luiz was back and athleti played the ball into the holes and we all know what happened after that.. maybe as a defender myself im reading to much into the differences but they are there

he would have had to win the games before that narritive could be made fact.. for all his faults in the past against us he has the team defending better granted we haven't played the strongest competition since his appointment but the ground work is there..from where we were when we unfortunately got rid of RDM he could only go up no?

even though they lost the fixture earlier in the season he had JT and the rest of our back four in his back pocket.. its like we cant figure him out or something he is def their biggest threat
