If alonso is pushed out and Emerson starts I’d see Luke Shaw on a free or Jay DaSilva brought back for our right back I’d promote Dujon Sterling to first team duties behind Azpi - personally I’d keep Barkley in the squad as well keep Tammy as a striker

Also I’d keep MVG in the squad as well back up for Kante he’s shown he has an eye for pass and goal while in the erdivise

Honestly I thank him for his service but if he wants to be like that we can make him second choice and bring in someone like Bernd Leno who is same age and very inexpensive option less than 30m.. there is also the obvious replacements in Alisson Becker and Jan Oblak , however these are considerably more expensive and a lot more difficult to pull off

has anyone brought up Ruben Neves. He's on his way up with Wolves and he is exactly the partner Kante needs in a 2 man midfield and would be even better in a 3. Technically gifted, not afraid to get into challenges, shoots from distance, eye for a pass. The best part you get someone like him at his age and your midfield could be sorted for years to come hes only 21. He was really Wolves maestro and architect in their promotion - so he is competent in English football.

we need a RB something serious I think Ricardo Pereira would be ideal - had a great year out on loan at Nice 16/17 and was brilliant for his parent club this year 17/18 Porto - along with CM this should be a major focus for us as well because Moses and Zappacosta are not good enough for our aspirations as a football club
