He's young, he needs playing time blahblah, it's all BS. He's better then what we have so he should play, period. He delivered in pre-season; so you'd expect a fair chance for the lad. Weird stuff, I'm sure he's devastated. His best buddy KDB won't be happy either. At least it's Everton, seems a good fit.

A 3rd striker is gonna play VERY little, so he's always gonna be of lesser quality than the other two. Having Schurrle fill in doesn't hurt our attacking midfield since we are overstocked there as it is. I understand where you're coming from, but while a 3rd striker wouldn't be bad I don't think it's necessary if you look at our team sheet.

Yea ok, but isn't that exactly why you have TWO strikers for the one spot? I mean sure, a 3rd doesn't hurt but is it needed? I'm not convinced

Why would you need more than 2 strikers for one striker spot when you have Schurrle and even Hazard to fill in if needed?

As said before, Ba and Lukaku leaving isn't a problem. Ba was never gonna get a spot, and we have Eto'o, Torres and Schurrle to fill 1 striker spot.

Technically a DM is a CM. What I meant was a midfielder who can distribute and be a rock defensively, ie DDR/Witsel.

A lot of them (us) don't seem to realise the world has picked up on the talent we have right now. It feels like there's constant need to defend Belgian players when it's totally unwarranted or unnecessary. I'm sure it's no agenda though, more like suffering from inferiority complex. Once in a while a new compatriot registers to tell you all how great we are; it's embarrasing but I try to ignore it.

People are acting like it was tough for a young lad to deal with the pressure of taking the 5th penalty in a final vs Bayern Munchen facing the Bayern fans. The penalty was woeful, nobody's denying that.

Can't fault him for not creating much in front of goal with the way we played in the end.. The only issue I have with Lukaku is his hair
