Bale had a season where every attempt from outside of the box went into the net, props to him ofcourse, amazing shooting ability. Combined with his physical presence he was a force and carried Tottenham. Eden outclassed him in the last months of the season though. If Mourinho can make him more of a goalscorer he'll easily be better than Bale. Imho he's better at every aspect of the game apart from finishing and pace (and strength I suppose). Inb4 double bias

Anderlecht lost a lot of quality, he'd be a starter more often than not. Be honest, do you think Zulte-Waregem will ever have a season like the last one? Ofcourse not. Going to a bigger club like Anderlecht would have been the logical step. Top training facilities, a LOT more pressure than at ZW, which he has to get accustomed to in order to play for Chelsea. They've got a CL ticket, there's loads of young lads coming through the youthranks, some of them good friends from the U19.. It would've made absolute sense in my opinion. I'm guessing you're a ZW fan and I offended you. Apologies.

KDB's distribution is what he's known for, bit odd to say his passing is nowhere near as good as Wilshere I agree that Wilshere is the better player atm mind u, Kevin has everything to prove.

Chelsea will be better than Real Madrid in 3-4 years, why would he want to go there? In any case, he used to be perceived as a mercenary (for taking his time choosing a club, securing your football future etc..), which is obviously a massive misconception. Personally I can see him staying here his whole career, provided Chelsea keep evolving in the right direction.

I like him, even though he didn't always play well.. He oozes class imo. Hopefully the addition of KDB and Schurrle will bring out the best in all of our attacking talent.
