He was overrated because of the English media who put him in the Hazard/Silva/Sanchez category before he even set foot in England. He's as good as you can expect a young guy coming from the Eredivisie to be imo. Tremendous talent, especially his shooting technique is incredible
I'm honostly scared to post in this thread because of the Belgian stigma, but I didn't even think he was bad at all. He ran his ass off working like a horse on that left side and was the only one who could manage something in attack. If Silva made that pass to Ramires it'd get a headline in the Daily Mail.
Think I'm perfectly allowed to post a recent even worse miss by the guy you proclaimed wouldn't miss todays chance. Not trying to dismiss Reus' ability, just your stupid post.
fyi, you don't assess a player on 1 game Hazard and Fabregas would be utter crap going by last game.. the hype is there because he broke records and was by far the best player in Germany. Who are they playing?
After all the hype and 200 articles in the Daily Mail, Memphis has been a bit shit hasn't he? As expected coming from the Dutch league at such a young age he's gonna have to learn how to cope with actual defenders.
They're talking about Thibo, not Cech I get that your a massive Cech fan and probably annoyed your favourite player got kicked out in favor of a young, plain, ugly looking no personality, bad body stature mediocre goalie, but please get over it.
Have you ever visited redcafe? Or RAWK, or Arsenal Mania? We're football fans on a forum mate, moaning and arguments are guaranteed, no kumbaya my lord ^^ The moaning is a bit stronger now as we look a bit shit and nothing much seems to be happening on the transfermarket
Well yea... then I agree with you. The execution was off because he timed his run badly, he was too early. I don't agree that he should've stayed on his line, which is what I thought you ment in your initial post. Imo it's one of the areas in which he excels; he saved several certain goals (including vs Messi) coming out. Not easy to time correctly, which I obviouly don't need to tell you, being an official UEFA goalkeeping trainer
