Point is Hazard STILL IS, while the others have faded, thought it didn't need explaining.

Please... Cesc, Hazard and Costa were great in the first half of the season, Cesc has been bang average since then, Costa too keeping his injuries in mind. Matic hasn't been nearly as good this season as some would make you believe. JT and Thibo are defenders, obviously I didn't mean Hazard carried our defence, thought it was pretty clear I meant attack. My definition of carrying the team is not dribbling players and leaving them for dead, no. It's being decisive every week, like Hazard. The notion that Neymar/Reus/whoever would just walk into this team and replace Hazard is more nonsensical than saying Hazard carries the team, or at least the attack these last few months.

No, we aren't Hazard FC (pretty fucking close though). You say "who cares, Bale/Neymar/Reus are just as good anyway", as if there's any guarantees whatsoever that they'd have a similar impact here, IF any of them would want to come here, which would be less likely if Hazard is gone. Any fan with a brain would care losing a player who carries an entire team brother

Don't think you realise what losing Hazard means for this team. I know in your mind that is easily fixed by bringing in some equally Fifa-rated players, but in reality we'd struggle to reach top4. Not that I think he'll leave soon

He's clearly at fault to some degree in those moments you mentioned, thing is those errors aren't nearly big enough for him to lose his spot. How about you sum up the countless moments he won us the game? The level he's playing at for a 22yo GK is very very rare. Cut him some slack instead of crying for Cech when he makes an error.

Because of the way he announced he'd join us and the twitter madness that followed. Like I said it's unfounded but it stuck with a lot of neutrals

Loved seeing him tapping the badge, honostly if we fix the weak spots in the team I don't see him leaving anytime soon, he's a loyal player, despite his unfounded mercenary image
