One of my favorite moments from yesterday was Garry fighting with the ref to stay on the pitch to defend a corner despite needing medical attention. If this guy is not captain material, no one is.

I thought he did well yesterday. This was highlighted when Malouda came on and Lahm started to be able to join the attacks. But he is no attacker, I don't see him playing on the wing anytime soon.

Bayern had most possession and shots, but Lamps and Mikel dictated the game the way they wanted to. Handed a tactical lesson to Schweinstiger and Kroos. I'm also glad he lifted the trophy with JT. He deserves it.

He is part of the group who gained hero status last night. I can't criticize him.....for a week

I agree with BlueMaster. I thought his performance yesterday was sub-par, but that goal......un-be-lievable (Gary Neville voice)

Someone, make a compilation of the saves he has made in the CL this season. It will be the most epic football video ever to be made.

Call me crazy, but in my honest opinion, over the 7 matches we played in the knock out rounds in the CL this year, he was our most important player. I lost count of the times he made a vital interception or a goal saving tackle/block.

I'm glad he picked up his game in the second half. His penalty was one of the best I have ever seen.

His performance was as close to perfection as anything has ever been. I don't remember him missing a single pass yesterday. "Take a bow son, take a bow"

6 penalties. He went the right on all six, managed to touch 4 and saved 3. Bloody hell Pete, what a match he had! Definitely MOTM for me.
