Not to derail this thread further, but I believe the issue with that line of reasoning is who decides what is "highly offensive shit" and what is not. That's not to say freedom of speech should be absolute, either. Of course there should be laws against harassment, verbal assault, libel...etc. And equally certainly a football club should be able to ban people for making bigoted chants. But arresting people for saying bigoted things, that's not far away from thought crimes, imo..

1. Christensen isn't a new signing. 2. Conte obviously disagrees with who should start ahead of whom. 3. I've been saying Christensen will be a world-class player since he was playing in the youth team but Rudiger has been objectively better. 4. You obviously have an issue with Rudiger beyond his performances for us, but he's already proving to be an important signing and a very good piece of business.

Has low-key been the best performer among our new signings so far. Would be a calamity if he's replaced by Cahill for the Arsenal match.

He was the best player on the pitch by a mile yesterday, but it was some shocking keeping by Schmeichel to let the goal in.

But on the other hand, has there ever been a football player who is better physically than Essien in his prime? Bakayoko is no where near Essien in that regard. But he's certainly showing positive signs. Just needs to slightly improve his decision making on the ball, for me.

Not the best debut for him. Looked pretty nervous on the ball. Clearly hasn't gelled yet with the team but can only do so with more playing minutes. Hopefully he gets just that midweek in the CL.
