  1. No, you don't want to shave it, or no, you don't call that a beard?
  2. That explains it, San Andreas was after my "time" Never played it.
  3. Can't say the same about Vidic and Ferdinand, though, especially the latter.
  4. I could say the same for you Barber! LOL That's the one Yeah, absolutely nothing wrong about that. In fact, with the unemployment rates currently in the whole region, it is much better than business majors, for example, who can't find a job anywhere, atm. But personally, I've always been a guy who can accomplish more with his brain than hands.
  5. for the who article, but this point in particular which has distorted the views of many people. It is particularly evident in the case of Mata who was practically exempted from defensive duties even under Benitez. This as well is an excellent point: But about the recovery system, since we are forcing opponents to the bi-line (something I've noticed as well), then why play Iva over Azpi despite his lack of tendency to stop crosses. In every single game this season there has been at least on one occasion, Iva's inability to stop a cross has resulted in a chance (Benteke's goal, Salah's goal..etc). Another thing I wanted to ask you about is what you think Jose asked the pivot to do differently in the past couple of games. He's obviously opted for Mikel over Frank, possibly for his defensive abilities or Ramires' inability to play the deeper holding role as well as Mikel does as evident by the Manu and especially the Bayern game. But you could see, especially from the Fulham game that Mikel has been give a different role than his usual holding role because he was sometimes making runs after passing the ball and providing numerical advantage. He isn't playing exactly like Ramires because Mikel was still the one who picked the ball up from the back four and combined with the fullbacks much more often, but it was somewhere between the original double pivot with completely same roles and interchangeable positions and the holding-box to box pivot we've played in the past.
  6. Wow, the oldest I've seen here was class mate of mine in 8th grade when I was 12. He was 16; he had repeated classes 4 times. But eventually those who fail move to technical schools or to professions that don't require a degree like carpenter, painter, hair-cutter (I know that's not a word, but I can't remember what the word is! My English is so weak when it comes to every day practical stuff because they never come up in books or songs ) I guess it's different in Kenya.
  7. Except we have players similar to Mata who can cover for him, while Kagawa is their only genuine attacking midfielder.
  8. Well you don't necessarily have to physically change schools. Some schools combine all three! They're just differentiated by what they are called. For example, I studied the first primarry grade along with the first three years, not sure what you call that level in English, in one school, the second primary to the first middle grade in another and the rest at another.
  9. I think it's probably Grade 9 by what Ryan explained. Which is also the year we learn Pythagoras here.
  10. Here the primary is 1st to 5th grade. Then you have four years of middle(?) school ending with a common official exam that all 9th graders take. You go into high school at the age of about 14-15 and you three years in high school ending in another official exam except in twelve grade you have four different "majors" you choose to study. But I think you study one more year than us since you have 13 grades. I think it's the French system that we have here.
  11. Absolutely no idea what "2nd year" is, but alright!
  12. Oh, really? Thanks for that, I didn't know. The name of the course I took complex numbers in was "Calculus 2 & 3" (I learned them first in high school, but math is not divided here at the level), but I guess they just try to cram every thing in there
  13. I find Robotics to be very interesting, but it's not available except in very expensive universities here. I think it would be a very good choice, especially if you go on to do a PhD in Nanorobotics. Future of the world, man.
  14. Ah, that's good, mate. Best of luck. And which engineering major do you want to choose? I start my fifth and final year next week. By the end of it I will hopefully have a Masters In Science In Electrical Engineering which is, for practical work reasons, equivalent to a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering.
  15. Who was it that called him an "Exotic Neil Warnock"?! Hahahaha Still make me laugh!
  16. Haha, certainly didn't know that. I remember one in Vice City where all the gangs turn into chicks in bikini's carrying guns. There was also one where you can pick up hot chicks with your car, then you can take them to a certain place and the image would zoom out and car would start shaking like they're having sex. What a waste of programming time!
  17. Meh, I've solved Schrodinger's equation for elements higher than Hydrogen. I just never told anyone because the world can't handle the results
  18. Well that enforces more the theory that they defend well at home. Should have more than enough quality to break them down with Mata, Willian and Torres on the pitch, though.
  19. He trained with the first team today. And Steve Holland said that one youth player will be with the team tomorrow. So I think it is likely that he will be on the bench tomorrow. Whether or not he actually plays is another story.
  20. I honestly don't disagree with any of that (except the bolded part). But you do see how that differs from a whole footballing philosophy that Jose is trying to build, right? I'm not saying that Jose is better, because there can't be a comparison between Jose and Rafa here because the two situations cannot be compared. But I guess the point of discussion here is that I believe that we could not have continued with the same Benitez "tactics" we had last season because they did not define the club or the way we wanted to play (and because it was too reliant on individual players). What we need, and what the the club obviously wants is a new philosophy like the one we installed back in 2004 and that has stayed with the club for 8 years despite all the players that have come and go. As for the bolded part, I wholeheartedly disagree. The movement of the front three was not better last season but the players found more players for a couple of reasons. First, the reason I already touched on, and that is that teams did not play as defensive against us last season as they are now. Just look at how Basel played against us last season as compared to last Wednesday. The other is that part of the philosophy that Jose is trying to implement is playing possession football high up the pitch which means that the opposition will be condensed in the their third making spaces for harder to find without proper movement, movement that we have yet to perfect. While last season most of the possession we had was in our own half and with the back four which meant that the opposition players were spread out over two thirds of the pitch instead of one; meaning there was bound to be more space.
  21. My last calculus course was, I think, in the first semester of the second year. My last mathematics course was the semester after; it was numerical analysis ( ). Which year are you in now?
  22. Dude, do the world a favor and shave your....errmm...do you call that a beard?! :P
