  1. Well either way I think Eto'o on the free and on a huge wage cut was not an opportunity to be missed. We had nothing to lose by signing him. The bold part is not really true. He's very strong and can run all day, but his technical ability on the ball is rather weak. His best attribute is his pressing and defending. Just don't give him the ball on the attack. Well there's been many stories. But the bottom line is we spent a lot in the summer and ended up with weak options for striker and an overloaded AM department. Allow me to clear that up. The club president was talking in an interview about how the Serie A has weakened a lot in recent years and how the financial trouble has effected the league. He gave a hypothetical example by saying "If, in a few years, someone came in with a huge bid for Pogba, the club won't be able to stop him from leaving". Obviously all the headlines the next day read something like "Pogba for sale" but that doesn't mean that the player wants to leave and it certainly doesn't mean that the club is willing to sell; certainly not in the winter market.
  2. No! It's not in the back of the closet. It's in the front because I wear it everyday to impress midgets
  3. What happened is that Romelu asked for a loan so we got Eto'o to replace him. Plus the Eto'o deal was too attractive to not go through with it. He was on a free and took a huge wage cut to come here. We had nothing to lose in signing him. Willian you're absolutely right about. It still makes very little sense to me. Agreed. You can't expect the team to not buy players like Hazard and Schurrle to give a chance to Lalkovic and Piazon, but when it's someone average at best like Guarin, then I would much rather have Nathanial in our team. At least he'd fit much better in our system.
  4. 18m  Nope, sorry. Still a long way from buying this rumor. Jose has said twice already that we won't make any signings in Jan and I'm pretty sure we won't break that to pay 18m for a below-average player that doesn't fit in our team.
  5. Exactly! This was always going to be a transition season for them.
  6. Fixed the missing pics and links. Let me know if I got something wrong @SeB.
  7. It was going to be very tough. But that would have been teh case regardless of who the manager is after the changes they made in the summer.
  8. Oh shit. Jason doing the preview again? We got lucky two times in a row and not lost. Can we get lucky a third time? Nervy times..
  9. Flickr is a different story. I'm not sure you can link a pic directly from flickr to here. The image you want to post here must be .jpg or .png or something like that.

  11. Palmeri again? This guy is a chronic pain in the ass!
  12. Exactly! It's not like they already had someone lined up. They're going to hand the club over to the assistant till after the new year on any account, why not keep him till then while you look for a replacement? He's a human being after all.
  13. In the toolbar at the top of the reply box, there is an icon called "image". You click on it and paste the link to the pic after you have uploaded it somewhere like a picture hosting site. On a different note, am I the only one who keeps reading this "The Pornography Thread"?! That cannot be healthy!
  14. I don't think Andre saw it coming so soon. Apparently, he had just arrived at the training complex with Christmas gifts for the staff when he was informed that he was he was going to get sacked. Even if you don't like the guy, you have to feel sorry for him getting sacked in this manner. All just rumors flying around, though, not 100% verified.
  15. This would make less than no sense. It tells all you know the fact that the vast majority of Inter fans don't whether he leaves or stays.
  16. Oh god, No! I hate that term almost as much as I hate "creativity"!
  17. That's all very true. That's why, in the video, we tried to convey that an energy "culture" revolution is needed. It has to be something we look to integrate into our culture and societies. Not do it just for the money, but for the belief that we need to do it for the sake of our future and the future of our children and grandchildren. All alternative energy makes little sense short-term atm (except maybe wind energy), but we need to change our perspective if we are to avoid a true disaster in the future.
  18. It's Apocaliptica playing Metallica's Nothing Else Matters. And how do you know that's even my voice?
