Was terrible last night from start to finish. Very sloppy which is very unlike him. I was happy with John so far this season because he has put in a good performance every time he's played, but yesterday was just not good enough.

It's actually funny how many chances we missed. Luckily Steaua had no quality whatsoever in their team to punish us. Job done, nonetheless, and the good fortune continues to shine upon us with how the other groups panned out. To think we could have gotten Dortmund, Juve or even Bayern in the next round.. I'd take Olympiakos or Leverkusen. A trip to Russia in Feb is not what we need, and I fear for our young squad visiting a place like Gala's stadium. About the game, a rather dire performance, but job done thanks to Georgievski who's probably been our best player in Europe this season! Voted for Mark for a good CL debut and because I know every else will vote for Willian (who deserves MOTM). Good to see Hazard continue his good form as well.

No for a couple of reasons: First, if we want a quick fix for one-two seasons there are much cheaper options available. Villa went for 2m!! And second, our game does not suite him in the slightest.

The injuries to Torres and Eto'o really killed us. They were both doing extremely well before the injuries. And before everyone jumps on the "Eto'o is done" bandwagon, let's not forget that two weeks ago he was putting in excellent performances for us especially against Schalke where his movement was simply world-class. Maybe because for the rest of that match Torres was the best player on the pitch while Eto'o was utter wank yesterday. I really respect your opinion, mate, but sometimes your obsession with Torres is way OTT!

He's 30 now! He has one or two seasons in him at best.

Was excellent in the first half yesterday. Very crucial to our pressing game and one of the main reasons we dominated the game. We should have been out of sight in that first half with the great defensive work the team, especially the pivot, did but the front four and Ramires were not good enough in the final third. You can't possibly blame Mikel, he did his job. He won the ball several times in the opposition half and started dangerous attacks that we missed and even got an assist for Schurrle's goal.

I find that unlikely. We've just create a new position in the club just to keep an eye on the loan players and gave it Eddie Newton. And I even remember him saying that he has a team working with him on it.

Should start the next two matches.

He's been average at best this season. I'd much rather have Lukaku here than Balotelli.
