Anyone posting in any language other than English will be banned immediately. Opposition fans are welcome to give their opinions and even for some banter as long as that is done respectfully, but you will need to obey the forum rules if you want to avoid getting banned.

Form wise, you could argue that Gala was the easiest of the possible teams we could have drawn. They're third in the Turkish league and haven't exactly been setting the world alight. Even in the CL, they qualified with just 7 points. 90% of the times 7 points means that you're out. I think Jose was saying that he wants Drogba not just because he wants at the bridge, but also because he knows that it's a good draw for us. That said, it will not an easy game. No game in the CL is in the knockout stages. I particularly fear for our young players going to a stadium like that in Turkey. Jose will need to work A LOT on prepping them mentally because they are bound to be intimidated.

Piazon's biggest attributes, for me, is his tactical awareness and movement, along with his excellent technical ability. That all goes to waste in the championship. He's the kind of player that needs quality players around him to show what he can do. Plus, I'm not sure Zola is going to last much longer at Watford...

Spot on. I think he's a bit of both, but probably a bit closer to Willian. But obviously not as developed as either. He's a huge prospect, but we already have quite a lot of those here.

I agree that he is better than KDB, but I'm not sure he offers something much different and better than the other 5 AMs we have to justify us spending a lot of money on him.
