He talks about him all the time in postmatch interviews, especially on CTV. The last time I think was when he was suspended and he said after the game what a huge miss he was because he's such an important key player for us. I can see your reasons for not thinking he will be a starter next season but Jose's comments throughout the season have suggested otherwise.

Though I do agree that Paulinho suits Brazil's system better than Rami. But that doesn't make him a better player for us.

Fully fit or not, Kroos has had a much better season and has arguably been Bayern's most important player. That is my point. And the Thiago this is only after Kroos had a rift with Pep. But to get back on topic, I'd take Arturo over either in a heart beat.

Not really the point. Even if you take the three months in which Bastian was injured out, in the remaining 6 months of the season Toni Kroos has been a much more integral part to the Bayern style of play and has generally performed better than Bastian.

I read somewhere that Platini was considering instead of banning teams who breach FFP completely from European competitions, to have a limit on the wages of the players who can play in Europe from those teams. So if you breach FFP you can't play all your stars in European competitions. I think that's a very practical and achievable idea. I hope they implement it because let's face it, banning big clubs from the CL was never realistic.

Currently Arturo is playing much better than Bastian. To be fair, Pep's system doesn't highlight Bastian's strengths. I agree with Ryan, Kroos has been much more important for Bayern this season than Bastian.
