The goals that came in that match had absolutely nothing to do with who was in midfield or in goal. They came because of Iva and Cahill's inability to distribute the ball from the back. In the EL final we played with 10 men behind the ball for the vast majority of the game; distribution from the back was not an issue hence why I originally said it will be an issue to pair them together if we're going to build from the back.

Loan move would benefit no one. The reason we want him to stay is to be Thibaut's backup while he settles in and the reason to sell him right now is because his value will decrease till next summer. A loan would mean that he is not here to be backup for Thibaut but his value would still go down. Makes no sense, imo.

Didn't see more than a couple of seconds of it, but it looked pretty "loose" to me!

I disagree. I think if we play that match a 100 times with the same lineup, we'll give away similar goals in 90 of them. In that very same game there were 3-4 close calls from both Gary and Brana. It's very simple, they both don't have great technique on the ball and they had their passing options cut down by Swansea. It was only natural that they end up losing the ball in dangerous areas. Granted they'd have more passing options if we continue with the 4-3-3, but I still think it's a major disadvantage to have two CBs who are incapable of distributing the ball well from the back unless we play Drogba up top and have them hoof it.

If we're going to build from the back, Iva-Cahill partnership is very worrying. Neither can distribute from the back. Remember the League Cup semifinal against Swansea? If the opposition press them, we're screwed.

It's not irrational to want to carpet bomb a huge region with millions of civilians in it?! It is completely irrational to think that you are the targeted and under threat here when an entire region has been absolutely devastated by these extremists. I can't leave my house without getting stuck in a 2-3 hour traffic because every single car has to be searched for explosives at the entrance of the city. You literally can't park anywhere because no one would let you for fear of car bombs .More than half the stores in my area have gone bankrupt and closed down. And we live in probably the most stable country in the region at the moment. Tens of thousands have been killed. Countries like Syria and Iraq have been completely destroyed. There are millions of refugees. And things are only getting worse. And you think that you are the ones under threat and you are the ones targeted? Because these barbaric mercenaries don't correspond with your values? With what society in the world does beheading and cannibalism agree? This isn't a British issue and this isn't a British issue, this is first and foremost an imminent threat to the existence of the middle east. This is secondly a humanitarian and global cultural issue that the whole world needs to stand up together. They are a much lesser threat to you than smoking, alcoholism or even speeding. What are you doing for those causes? You aren't at war and your values are not under attack. That's just what your government and media want you to believe because a scared citizen at war would do and justify almost anything in the name of patriotism.

Wrong signing for them. Why would any manager want someone like him in his dressing room?

Well, I'll take your word for it!

Actually that was aimed at TOPTB, not you. I only quoted your post because it put in better words what I was trying to say and better explained that even if the crimes are hideous they are not a threat to civilized life. Sorry, I would have explained more but I had assumed you had read the discussion between me and TOPTB on the previous couple of pages.

Both Nazism and Communism are prime examples of a cultural victory. This is at the very heart of what I am saying: You want to fight ISIS? Start by not watching that video and if you do watch it, don't share it. They want you scared. I already told you about how they use professional effects on their videos to make them scarier. Their power is in how scary they look and sound. They have about 50-70 thousand fighters, less than any of the armies in the region, yet they've cause havoc in the whole region and scared the whole world. They currently hold regions with millions of civilians who do not support them. But no one dares stand up to them. You are currently exactly as they want you. Scared and subsequently irrational.

That's actually a VERY good comparison.

Let me show you something: The red part of the map above is the area under ISIS control at the moment. It is not possible to bomb that entire area, military wise. Humanitarian wise, the vast majority of this area is made up of civilian villages with millions of people who don't necessarily support or really have anything to do with ISIS. Imagine if a few hundred heavily armed men came to your neighborhood and took away your freedom and started enforcing crazy rules (I mean crazy. You can get whipped for mixing cucumbers with tomatoes in salads!).The people are at best not allowed to leave. Culturally, this is an ideology that has, one or another, become a reality. You can't bomb an idea away. History proves this time after time. Ignorance can only be battled with knowledge.

Not to mention actual drugs. The vast majority of those fighters of extremist groups are on drugs. I've talked to people who have fought them and they all say that they are 100% on some drugs because they don't seem to feel pain. They got shot but don't go down. Even the ones captured at first don't seem to know where they are.

That would be 10 million pounds per year. Why in the world would they do that?!

This season, JT must get more rest than he did last season which would mean Iva playing a lot of games at CB where I believe he is at his best. I think the plan by Jose is to eventually have Azpi and Luis as starters, or else it would make no sense to stop Ake from going out on loan just to have him as 3rd choice LB.

Again, I was talking about us civilians, not militaries, specifically about protest. Of course you need to combat them on the battlefield, but that's not enough. This is a cultural/ideological issue. If you don't combat it culturally, you'll just end up with more of them. It took years and millions to create the end product that you see today. You can't just bomb it away. It really isn't an option. Physically, it doesn't work. Unless you plan on using a few nuclear on the whole area. You can't bomb ISIS away Of course there is no reasoning for this ideology. It isn't an ideology that has come naturally, it is one which has been artificially created. This is the Frankenstein of cultures, and the beast is coming after it's creator after it terrorized the whole village. I guess, as opposed to a secular middle eastern state that the west can destroy by invasion or civil war like Iraq, Libya, Syria...etc. No, I'm sorry, but this an unbelievably self centered view of things. With what human culture or values in the world would this "ideology" be compatible with?! These militias which were funded and armed by the Western governments that have those values you speak of have been the main cause of the death hundreds of thousands in the middle east, mostly civilians, while doing the dirty business of those governments in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria...etc. completely destroying some of those states and obliterating the peace and some of the multiculturalism in the whole area. Now, you just care because some America journalist got killed. And you want a full war on the region and to just carpet bomb a region larger than the entire UK which will only cause much more civilian deaths to fix a mistake which which wouldn't exist without your governments. Yup, great values indeed..

They're also one of the rare teams in the championship that play flowing possession-based football. I don't think it could get them promoted, but it makes them a great place to have youngsters on loan at.

Usually it becomes available here a couple of weeks after it's release. That's because there are only...erm.."special" versions available in Lebanon

I heard an interview with him after the match against Leeds and he seems to really rate him highly. I honestly think this would be a good move for him. I hope he doesn't decide to go somewhere he won't get any minutes just because of the name of the club.
