  1. Brendan Rodgers: "We deserved at least a point for attitude" Brendan is now a full scouser. Today he managed to score high enough on the delludo-meter to get the full scouse citizenship!
  2. Oh, you're right. For some reason the app on my phone had Boro first.
  3. Well I'd love that, but previous experiences show that he won't be given a proper here chance, especially as a lone striker unless he turns heads in the EPL. And even then he'd have to settle to playing second fiddle to some big name striker.
  4. Paul Merson absolutely slamming Arsenal and he's spot on! http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/9550146/merson-slams-arsenal-tactics
  5. Boro go top of the championship with that win. Would be pretty perfect PL loan for Patrick next season if they can stay there till May.

  7. Haha you were right! They were bloody hilarious today
  8. That's a ridiculously hard finish! Why didn't he just take it with his foot?!
  9. They'd probably call it a 6th European cup!
  10. Thought this was a level-headed analysis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtBkJj8Dlj4
  11. I literally LOLed That comment is sooo...Liverpool! I'm dead!
  12. They had to cancel their own "Goal of the month" competition on the official site because they didn't score any goals in October!
  13. Yeah, we can get like a choir. Imagine how awesome the chants would sound!
  14. Bit worrying to be honest. Last time I checked he was their best CB! Hope it's just one game off thing.
  15. Was he injured or suspended for the game at the weekend? I saw he wasn't even on the bench.
  16. To be fair, reading the comments again, I think he was misunderstood on that particular point. I think he meant to say that we get less support at the Bridge than the visiting teams and not that we have the worst support.
  17. So, apparently JT did phone the fan today: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-skipper-john-terry-rings-4557981 Not convinced but hoping his promises of taking the issue to the club are serious.
  18. Well, the last possible reasoning for making the remarks was because he wanted it genuinely discussed and hopefully somehow addressed and improved, but when he refuses to even discuss the causes, that theory just goes out the window. I cannot understand or support why he would make the comments, now. If he thinks this is a way to get a response in the next match then he is very much mistaken. I can't believe how ignorant he is about the real causes of the issue.
  19. Oh come off it, mate. Elbow straight into side of ribs with a push with the arm and right leg between Eden's leg bring him down as well. Clearly inside. Clear foul, clear penalty.
  20. It's no secret that the club has been trying (and has succeeded) in eliminating any player power within the team since even before the AVB fiasco but especially after. You can clearly see the influence of players, specifically older players, on the whole club decisions and direction have gone down massively since Scholari's for example. (Ashley Cole brought a rifle to training, ffs!) And no one was more powerful than JT himself. If you believe some reports, he would borrow Roman's yacht whenever he wants and bring his family and friends to use the facilities at Cobham regularly...etc. All gone. Biggest evidence maybe was that there was a genuine possibility of him even not being offered a contract.I reckon he probably regained some of it with Jose's return but I highly doubt he still have power to influence executive decisions by the club like the ones being discussed here.
