  1. Why is he sucking on the cup? Usually when players kiss the silverware they win, they give it a little peck. He's so trophy-deprived from his Arsenal days that he's went with a full French kiss!
  2. Kudos on the title pun I still think that Omeruo probably has the highest potential of the three. I'd really like to see him somewhere in the PL next season.
  3. For some reason, I'm about as nervous about this as I was for the final! That midfield battle is going to be a real tough one!
  4. Probably, but it's something at least. Better to light a candle than curse the darkness.
  5. Definitely Carlo, even though I'd hate to see him manage another English team. On the other hand, I am very intrigued to see Pep taking on the EPL challenge.
  6. You don't have to actually deactivate, mate. We're all just having a bit of fun. No one actually wants you to deactivate, just to have a bit more faith in the team
  7. Someone give this man a medal!
  8. Michael Duberry doing a good job trying to give a different image about our fans at Wembley: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2975847/Chelsea-supporters-Wembley-range-different-races-s-shame-hear-drunken-racists-train-like-saw.html
  9. He'll probably injure himself trying to sign the contract. No thanks.
  10. Welcome, guys, and best of luck to you all
  11. Hey Emir. May I ask, as an atheist, how you feel about Turkey rapidly moving away from secularism under Erdogan? Thanks
  12. BIG big game player. Outstanding in yet another final.
  13. Zouma again in midfield for me. Wet spam have a midfield that is physically very strong. We need someone in there to win first headers or we will be playing right into their hands.
  14. Or his incredible ability to be hit by the ball...
  15. This has links to goals, highlights, mini match and full match: https://twitter.com/unCFCTV/status/572308582089162752
  16. The thing is, it wasn't particularly a negative defensive choice from Jose. People before the match predicted that he might play Cahill or Zouma in midfield...and I think they were wrong! Because we did not by any stretch of the imagination "park the bus" or play with 3 CBs. I think, and this was more obvious in the first half but happened in the second as well, just as the decision to play Zouma in midfield was for defensive reasons of winning first balls in midfield (which we all know neither Cesc or Rami can do) it was also just as much for offensive reasons. Whenever our CBs had the ball at their feet (not on counters) Zouma moved past Cesc and Ramires and played almost as the #10 to provide the long ball option for them which was an issue for us at WHL. He very much played the "Fellaini role" which I thought was very unpredictable and is only logical in retrospective. Also motivated by necessity and pragmatism rather than for the sake of "creativity".
  17. Can I just say, he got it absolutely spot on today, and Zouma in midfield was a stroke of genius. Other managers, like Pep for example, get all the praise in the world for tactical "hipster moves" like playing a CM as a striker or a full back as holding midfield, but I thought that giving Zouma this role, in such a big game was a great example of effective pragmatism, and just pure genius. Deserves massive credit for it, imo.
  18. Haha Yes, I almost forgot, Lloris unknowingly in a Chelsea scarf was really the icing on the cake, along with Jose insisting that Brown and Christensen lift the cup as well
  19. Now you got me thinking of Rodger's ass, thanks a bunch!
  20. For some reason, this made me smile probably as much as JT lifting the cup. I just love his honest attitude in interviews: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sW9aiRvxSno
  21. Well obviously the answer is that because he won't have the ball at his feet at all! Actually notice that when we were on the ball, especially when the ball was with our CBs, Zouma actually moved to a more advanced position than Ramires and Cesc to give the long ball option.
