Belief matters to a point. As I mentioned to another poster I had better technique than he did at age 12. His technique is shit. 
 
He got anyway with things at Juventus and Real because there was plenty of talent to make up for his inefficiencies and he was never relied upon to lead the line.

Morata is the typical players who looks good at Real because there are so many good players, but the spotlight shines on them to take control they wither away.
It’s too bad Napoli won’t Chelsea anymore players as Dries would a better stop gap 9 until a top striker becomes available.

No just moronic nonsense like 'he could/should do more' with zero context or awareness of what transpired on Sunday. Stupidity runs deep at Chelsea, from the club itself right down to the supporters.

How can an attacking player be anything but disinterested when his team is set up the way they were on Sunday? You could have replaced Hazard with any of the all-time great attacking players and they would have performed no better. Sunday was a shambles and further proves why Hazard has to leave this summer. You cannot be that good and waste your prime years playing that kind of football every time your club  comes across decent opposition.

Everybody points to the trophies we've won to justify the lack of stability that the club shows towards its managers, but the other end of the scale needs far more consideration. If we finish outside the top 4 this season it will be the third time in 7 years, which is more times than we've won the league in that period.
That to me shows the harm of lack of stability, because we are becoming a yo-yo club within the top 4 places. The board need to wake up and realise that the lack of a long term plan and system over the last few seasons rather than bringing in who they consider to be the best manager and not necessarily a succession to the previous one has caused this effect. We already need some surgery within our squad but if a new manager comes in wanting to play 4 at the back, we will suddenly have all of our wing backs bar perhaps Emerson no longer suited to the squad because none of them are capable of playing in a back four at a high standard. And if that manager wants to play with a midfield 3, we're struggling at the moment with one partner for Kante, let alone two.
Sometimes you have to take one step back to take two steps forward, and the board have never done this. There has always been surgery and changes to the squad made with short term thinking.

The tactics were fine. But Hazard needs to win more aerial duels against Otamendi and Laporte.

Batshuayi got a fair chance when he got 9 seconds, 15 seconds, 23 seconds, 17 seconds, 12 seconds, 17 seconds, 14 seconds, 23 seconds and 13 seconds. I also believe like everybody here he had to show more in this streak of games. The confidence of Conte in Batsman was all over the place this season.
