He has had enough of loan spells. And I am sure he will leave us this summer. Feel sad for him as he is a good player but we have enough box to box MF in Lamps, Essien and Ramirez. We are longing for a creative MF.

All I can say about Sinclair is he like Mancienne fell victim to the managerial merry go round. Sinclair was preferred by Mou in 06-07 and he put in decent performances. The one that stands out was at Arsenal when we were down to 10 men, that was Sinclari's best game for us. Unfortunately, Mou was fired, Avram tried Sinclair and sent him on loan and then Avram was Fired and Scolari, then Guss, then Ancelotti. It is difficult for a youngster to make on impression on so many people. The one who preferred him had gone. He would have never started for us but could have been our impact player, our own Theo Walcott. The guy had pace which could have been put to use in the final quarter of the game. Mou liked him, so did I and it pains me to see him banging them in at Swansea.

Why? Has his baby or the mother of the baby been banned from entering England?
-
Why not Michael Mancienne? He has played in first team and he was good whenever he played. Unfortunately for him, Guus had to leave and Carlo sent him on loan. This season he has been injured for lengthy periods. Last season he was good for Wolves. He could be our Beletti only that he is 11 years younger to Beletti. More than Cork, Mancienne is much capable playing across the back and as a DM. Another advantage he has is he has already played in first team and has done well. Mancienne is 23 and has more experience compared to Cork in the Premier League and overall (if im not wrong). Taking none away from Cork, He is a better midfielder than a defender and we are packed in the midfield except for a creative midfielder which Cork is not. He is more of a box to box. As I said, Mancienne put in a 7-8 on 10 performances whenever he played for us under Guss and he has been fantastic as a DM for Wolves last season. Same as Mancienne. I disagree. Mancienne could be a much better Utility Player for us considering he has played for us before at RB and DM and has done well and has more PL experience than Cork. Cork although a better box to box MF is not a better defender compared to Mancienne. We need an Oshea type player and Mancienne suits the bill.

Zola's possible return to Stamford Bridge?
warnie_666 replied to crazy1's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
The club has te tendency to fuckk off our legends for some reason. Who is to say they won't treat Zola the same way as they treated ray? I would love the Carlo - Zola combo. But I'm vary about how the club would treat him in a year or two -
Bielsa the "next scolari"

Are we talking "Bad Moment" or "Good Moment" ?

Kalou and Malouda do track back. Please see the Spurs away game for Kalou's tracking back. Just cus he is a shit starter doesnt mean he is a bad player overall. Regarding Lampard, Id say lay off. Simply cus he has had his first bad season for Chelsea and that was mainly due to his 4-5 months of time out with injury. Give him another season before criticising him.

What ever happen to Darijo Srna being link to Chelsea?
warnie_666 replied to a topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Isnt a Right Back. But Srna would be a good signing. As he is available for Free. -
Firstly, the team that won 3 Titles and Champions League under Fergie was smashed by us 3-0 at Bridge the day we won the title for second time, and ended their 3rd season without the title. Did they sack Fergie? NO. Secondly, the team which we beat last season at OT to win the Title is the same team that beat us this season. Did they fire Fergie? NO. and now they are even in Champions League Final. Obviously, if you ask Man Utd fans about those performances they would tell you there was no drive, professionalism, or work ethic on pitch and Fergie has gone soft with age. But when he comes back years after years and wins things they all shut up. All is forgotten. Thirdly, it wasnt just us who looked like zombies for whole season. Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal all three have had their worst season this season after a long time. We MUST have patience. The Squad will have highs and lows like a player's form. And I dont get the W---K fest on Guus. He hasnt managed us for one entire season. He managed us for 11 games and we were good. If you look at Ancelotti's first 11 games or even Scolari's first 10-12 games, you will see a similar trend. Also, before someone tells me that he reinvigorated the team after Scolari, I would say, Players raise their game for a new manager to earn the starting place since everyone has a clean slate with a new manager at helm and hence you see the top form during the beginning of Guus stint, Scolari Stint and Ancelotti Stint or even Grant's stint. WE MUST follow the model of the most successful side in Premier League and give our manager confidence and time to win things and not try to be a JOKE of a club like Real Madrid who fire manager at whim, not to mention we already are a joke of a club but we can save ourself from being the laughing stock of the summer again.

Is anyone having reservations over Essien? 2 knee surgeries in two years, third season he is average. We already have Ramirez. I am tempted to give Essien another season but wouldnt be disappointed if he were to be sold. Lampard has had his first BAD season for Chelsea. I refuse to critique him. Plus he had 4 months off. He is Mr. Consistency personified. I feel this season is a one off. We failed to build on a winning squad instead we culled it and expected 19yr olds to make an impact and win us the title and Champions League. I think we did well to finish second to be honest, and if it wasnt for Lampard's injury we would have won the league. Lampard never gets injured for 4 months, it all had to happen this season. The board has realised its mistake and the reinforcements have started to come in in Jan. And we might see 3-4 additions to the squad too. We will have a much better squad and a better and a more relaxed pre season to prepare for the new season. I am confident we will win back the title.

Umm, 23 yr old in new country new league plays below avg for first couple of months and you tag him an awful signing?

Nerves? What Nerves? If anyone would be feeling the pressure its Manchester United. They have everything to lose. We have nothing to lose specially after being 18 points off at one time when Man U were leading 1-0 at Bridge. One look at red Cafe..and you'll know they are absolutely shitting bricks. They wonder if they blew it allowing us to come back into the race from 15 points off. The arsenal victory has lifted the spirits of majority of us, and I am guessing its the same with players. This is the biggest Boost we needed. We are going all guns blazing. We know a draw is not suffice so we are in a much better situation mentally than them. While they would be nervy. One look at the recent history and you'll know that we have the track record of doing better in this situation. 07-08, we needed 3 points to go level. we beat Man U and go level. 09-10 we needed 3 points to overtake Man U, we beat them and we lead the table by a point. Last 10 games: Man U 5 wins 1 draw and 4 losses. Chels 8 wins, 2 draws. Whose bricking it now?

The amount of drivel in cfc net against Ancelotti is astounding. I am glad to see some fans here willing to back the manager. Carlo Ancelotti: "I am the man that wins the Champions League every 4 years and this year is my year and its in London"

Vladimir Putin tells Roman Abramovich to pay for World Cup 2018
warnie_666 replied to Swoopz's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Looks like you should read Roman's History and what happened post Soviet's collapse.....Basically, the Putin says...look I made you what you are, now its time for all you oligarchs to repay me by funding the WC. .... -
Every team has its highs and lows. Last season we suffered lows twice first in December and then in Feb and March. Every team will suffer. As long as We are around the top two by January, I would be happy.
-
With that Bergistan or whoever coming to us these rumours will last for a long time now. Media makes assumptions. Its no rocket science.
-
Not Really....Arnesen deals with our youth and also first team affairs to some extent while Clament is Just a Trainer/Coach
-
Who else do you think it could be?
-
When was the last time we won against them at home?
-
I think its more of Arnesen who has frozen him out. I saw Borini on his FB profile say that Carlo is a real nice guy and very helpful but it is not Carlo who has frozen him out. Which makes you wonder who it is and the obvious answer seems Arnesen.
-
To be fair Borini got his fair share of games last season and he missed few sitters which he should have burried in with a better finishing technique. Although the chances were less, for a striker you need to grab em by banging them in just like Sturridge has been doing.

China is the Sleeping Giant. You dont wanna mess with them and US knows it. Although conventional warfare US would beat their arse hands down, but the sheer numbers of infantry and weaponry in Chinese army, Airforce, Navy is frightening. And North Korea has nukes Thanks to China and Pakistan. Hence US doesnt mess with the two nations. If at all there is a war, US wont get directly involved but will support South Korea with weaponry and intelligence.
