Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/204935/Graeme-Souness-Villas-Boas-spell-to-end-in-tears/ GRAEME SOUNESS: VILLAS-BOAS SPELL TO END IN TEARS LEGENDARY hard man Graeme Souness believes Andre Villas-Boas’s spell at Chelsea could end in tears. The Scot, who never backed out of a tackle played for the best and managed eight clubs worldwide. So his opinion carries clout when he says Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich made a major mistake in replacing Carlo Ancelotti with Villas-Boas, 33. The Blues forked out a staggering £15million in compensation to make AVB their new manager after he led Porto to four trophies last season. WIN £50,000: PLAY DAILY STAR FANTASY FOOTBALL NOW! But Souness says he will struggle to control Chelsea’s stars because he is too young and has never played the game himself. “I just didn’t see the sense of getting rid of Carlo Ancelotti,” said former Liverpool, Rangers and Newcastle manager Souness. He was a good manager, tried and tested at the highest level. The new manager and his backroom team are relatively inexperienced. “Being successful in Portugal with Porto isn’t the biggest of deals. They are more or less guaranteed success. “And Villas-Boas has never played the game. I worry for Chelsea.” --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok....Does Mourinho ring a bell Mr. Souness? Does Arrigo Sacchi Ring a bell? Arrigo sacchi once said, "You dont have to be a horse to be a good Jockey" Both of those have been stellar managers which Souness could never be. But he was a good player...I will give that to him. Jamie Carragher once said "It was Graeme Souness who knocked them off their perch"...OUCH!!! He then went to Benefica, Portuguese league, where AVB won everything for Porto setting records in the process. Poor Souness was fired from there too..... I like Souness Post Match analysis on Champions League games, but i would prefer he shut his trap when it comes to commenting on Managers, something he failed miserably at. -

I read a year ago that the Scottish FA tries to get him to play for Scotland
-
You are right. He is Scottish and migrated to England

In two years if Oreo cookie goes back to Barca we hcould have a replacement in Conor Clifford. And we also get 10m in profit on his sale. Win Win
-
Nothing wrong with the deal. Oreo cookie is certainly not going to start alot of games this season so I don't think Barca would pay 10m for him. The season after next he will start playing a bit more but still wouldnt be more than a squad player and I don't think Barca would pay 15m for him. If they pay 15m I say that's a bloody good business by Chelsea by buying a 5m squad player and selling him for 15m in two seasons. If Barca don't buy him he continues to play with us and may even start more games in third season

Our very own Kakuta has been tagged as one of the young gems to look for in the tournament on Fifa.com

- Xavi Hernandez From FCB Played For His Team 577 Matches , Made 67 Goals And Scored 58 ! - Steven Gerrard From LFC Played For His Team 556 Matches , Made 83 Goals And Scored 140 ! - Frank Lampard From CFC Played For His Team 509 Matches , Made 108 Goals And Scored 170 ! Oh I forgot to add, that out of those 170 goals 70 are penalties, 50 are scored when the team is winning 4-0 and 40 are deflected. -
I believe a pre season in America would be a better gauge for our performance than a pre season in Asia. Teams in US are much better prepared and a much tougher opposition than teams in Asia. But brand marketin seems like the priority. All in all a good preseason but I won't get carried away

The English media is Wanking over Wilshere for quite some time now. They will adore him like they adored Gerrard for once in 4 season performances while McEchran, will keep performing in an out year after year and will be called Overrated. Btw..Lampard's England career is over. He is passed his peak for Chelsea, England shouldnt be too different. I would rather have him retire and concentrate on Chelsea and prolong his club career -

WHAT TIME IS THE MATCH AT?
-
Been watching his 8-10 minute match compilation against every team in Serie A and although it looks like he tends to give the ball away sometimes (Being a young playmaker he will only get better as he matures), he tends to glide through the middle elegantly. And you see that most of his passes are forward, which will be stark contrast to our lateral passing. Would be refreshing to see him in the middle, releasing the likes of Sturridge, Drogba, Torres, Benayoun, Malouda. Note that he was voted Serie A Young Player of the year last season in only his second season in Italy ahead of Sanchez.

Just being sarcastic. Relax!! -
Muslim considers a fellow Muslim as a brother. There is sense of brotherhood among Muslims and that is why when Afghanistan was invaded by Soviets Muslims from all over the world joined their "brothers" in defeding their nation against the "infidels". Muslims from across the globe view fellow Muslims in Palestine as their brothers and jews as infidels.

So what if Malaysia conceded 6 goals and 4 goals against Liverpool and Arsenal? Does that make them a better team, and improved their chances of winning the league? Pre Season Games mean fuckall. We beat Inter Milan in United States, that same year Inter Milan won the treble. Dont you even compare Fulham's run in Europa Qualifiers to Pre Season Games. I dont think Fulham's Manager is experimenting by sending out 2 sets of 11 players in each halves cus thats serious business and these are pre season friendlies. (The Fact that I am even explaining this simple fact to you is embarrassing) Get a Grip!!

Not sure if you can call Essien one footed with those smashing goals with either foot. If you are talking about "predominantly" one footed players then there are alot of them who have a strong foot but they also use their weak foot. But I am guessing your thread is about one footed players, players who have no hope with the other foot. I refuse to put Essien in that bracket. Malouda as well, has scored quite a few with his right foot. Kakuta too uses his right foot although its his weaker foot Sturridge, Zirkov and A.Cole are the ones I would classify as one footed....
-
Right Foot Left Foot You know who you must call one footed ? One who refuses to use his weaker foot no matter how critical the situation is.
-
Just thought it was wierd. Carry on

Anelka said he won't accept offers. Not sure why cus a club in America will pay him much more
