  1. When Fergie does it, its mind games when AVB does it its a blunder. Ofcourse he is a novice.. They will start ganging up on AVB. And I hope AVB shoves his foot down their throat by winning the Title
  2. I think Mourinho had Drogba as his primary striker. And Shevchenko was thrust upon him in 2006 which really didnt leave any scope for a Torres transfer. Just cus a scout goes to watch a player doesnt mean we are in to buy him. May be if Sheva was not here, we may have got Torres but that wasnt the case.
  3. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/8785019/Chelsea-manager-Andre-Villas-Boas-hits-out-at-Alan-Hansens-naive-claims-after-defeat-by-Manchester-United.html This one is more detail.
  4. Wow. He has really ripped into Hansen. Hansen talks shit. We were superior for 90mins and they won cus of two offside goals and a lucky goal. At no pint in the game did they open us up untill later when we went on an attack leaving spaces behind.
  5. I saw JT coming up to him and saying something and wondered what did JT say. No wonder. That's our JT and we all know how he has played through the pain. I'd learn that From him if I were Lukaku
  6. Bertand: started slowly but grew as the game progressed. Not as exciting as PVA going ahead but defensively looks sound and much better than PVA. With PVA it's a similar conundrum to out RB position between Boss and Ivo. With more games he will improve. I heard he started off as a winger but surprisingly doesnt look great going ahead Josh: looked sound. No misplaced passes. Technically he is supreme and could have had a goal with a beautiful 1-2 with Malouda. Needs to play more than 50 mins to see how good he really is and whether he tires at the end. Romeu: looked good for a 19 yr old. We can see the technical ability but did lose the ball in dangerous positions but quickly recovered. The fact that we kept a clean sheet with 10 men for 70 mins is a credit to him. And credit for playing 120 mins in his first game for Chelsea. I want to get excited about him but I can't help but see him go back to Barca in two years for 15m Lukaku: started slow but I don't think he could do much with 10 players on te field. Still for a 18 yr old he had an Ok game. He is still raw and will learn and be ready in a couple of years. A loan move next season should do him good. All in all good performance from the youngsters in their first game of the season. Nothing exciting but nothing atrocious either. This group needs to start the next CC game
  7. It's cringeworthy to see fans wanting to back their players? And do you think it's good to boo and abuse your own players? Not to mention your hatred towards benayoun cus of his religion? Don't give me that Heskey example. I mentioned Kalou cus he was an example yesterday but you and some other fans boo benayoun Which is just as shameful. And talking about viewing and judging players through blue tinted glasses, nothing is as bad as calling Kakuta as the next messi.
  8. So if Kalou hadn't misplaced his passes you are saying he wouldnt have got the abuses? We all know people hate him here and even if e had had a good game movement wise but had missed those chances you lot would have abused the he'll out of him. It is so shameful and it reminds me of Arsenal fans who booed off eboue. So if Kalou hadn't misplaced his passes you are saying he wouldnt have got the abuses? 9. Are you serious? Ross Turnbull saved out ass. Those saves during the game and a penalty save. He was very good. Romeu was decent. Not great. He gave the ball away but recovered quickly. Technically he is good and he will improve. For a 19 yr old he was good. I wish I could say he is gonna be a superb buy for future but the buy back clause is making me nervous
  10. I was reading the forum and there were alot of abuses hurled at Kalouda. I then watched the full game and I was quite shocked that some of you called him poor Malouda. He was Good and played 120 mins and was at the centre of all our attacks. Kalou on the other hand wasted some chances. But y would you give MOTM to Torres after he fluffed so many chances not to mention the howler and yet abuse Kalou cus he couldn't put his chances away. It is just stupid the bias some fans show. You support a player who cost us 50m an scored 2 in 24 inspite of missing many chances in one of the most of important games of the season. An when your 6m striker misses some chances against some reserve team in a Mickey mouse cup you abuse the he'll out of him. It's just pathetic to see some of the bias
  11. I believe in miracles and I just saw one today
  12. Yes cus Terry played against man UTD first team and Alex played against Fulham reserves
  13. More Agony as AVB dropped Torres Is the headlines tomorrow.
  14. Probably worse. Could have done a Leeds as we were almost bankrupt
  15. Not that I am complaining but the different between Chelsea and those wannabe teams is that we were a Champions League team even before Roman bought us while these wannabe Chelsea teams have been in the bottom pile
  16. They had a good start in 06-07 and they stayed no.1 throughout the season. But I would be shocked if this team wins the league. Surely their form and more importantly their luck will desert them at some stage.
  17. The defense splitting through balls for all of Torres's chances were very Barcelona'esque. I wouldn't say we were like Arsenal cus we have a striker finding his form and the refereeing was dismal. If only Torres was form and Ramirez had finished his chances we would have hit 3 in the first half. But we know that they have to come to the bridge and by then we should be very fluid and crisp. Hopefully we bang in 5 against them and two of those goals result from a very dubious penalties decision.
  18. But the guy lacks class. And that stops me from having any iota of respect for him
  19. Justin: Offtopic but since you mentioned you are from NYC, have you been to Nevada simth with the new York blues? I used to visit Nev Smith almost every weekend untill I moved down south. I think they now moved to a different bar
  20. Is it just me or is your praise for the opposition always more than necessary.
  21. And this is exactly why I dont need a Hiddink on top of him. He seems to have all the powers and if he is shown some patience by board, he can win us alot.
