  1. Yeah Drogba was awful as well but at least he got the goalkeeper to reduce that ridiculous time wasting.
  2. Yep that's our biggest problem. Our midfield takes way too many passes. Apart from his bursts and energy, Ramires isn't good with the ball and with a pass. Mikel lol. Meireles poor. Lampard poor. We just haven't got anyone there ATM.
  3. And let's not kid ourselves, we've been playing this way even when Carlo was the manager. AVB didn't just enter into a wonderful team playing attacking football and MAKE them play this way. They've been like this for quite some time. AVB has quite a few flaws, but I still support him.
  4. Oh yeah! Forgot about the Jose mourinho chanting. What a disgrace. Was completely embarrassed that they were actually singing that.
  5. Not too bothered by this one surprisingly. I guess I'm already on hibernation mode til the summer. Wasn't nearly as bad as the commentators made it out to be. Yes, we were AWFUL, but it's basically the same performance that has been going on for 18 months, since Carlo. Defensively apart from the goal I thought we were okay. Cahill did a good job. Luiz was pretty solid too. Ivanovic did a great job against redmond, didn't even give him a sniff of the ball Midfield was very poor. Torres was atrocious, glad he was taken off. Sturridge was poor til the goal. Mata good in the first half, disappeared in the second. Understand why he was taken off. Drogba, lampard and Kalou all shit No creativity, no ideas.
  6. I don't know if @feruz10 is his official twitter (probably is because there are quite a few pics of him) but he seems to be quite arrogant??? He just tweeted that he won't play for the Scotland u17s because he passed that stage a couple of years ago and refuses to step down a few levels. That's a pretty crappy attitude lol
  7. This is a really stupid topic. I think a language barrier if there even is one is the least of our problems. I dont know about Bosingwa but Luiz speaks pretty good English now, considering he's only been here a year and didn't know any when he moved.
  8. You know things are fucking horrible when playing Kalou might not be the worst option in the world
  9. His first real mistake all season. Very happy they won anyway. I hope they progress far to give him more experience against European sides
  10. How has Lampard been treated abysmally? He doesn't deserve to be starting every game anymore so I don't see why he should start simply because he is "Frank Lampard"?!
  11. I'm glad to see that the majority of fans are really turning on the players rather than AVB. These players really have been a disgrace and I can't believe that the same guys who won us league titles a few years ago have now started acting this way. I agree! Surely, if Roman had doubts about whether sticking with AVB was the right idea, he would have sacked him already. And as we can now see, the situation with the players has been escalating and I'm sure a few 'Model Professionals' have been to see Roman to give 'feedback' on our new manager. If Roman was on the players side, he would have listened and taken action. Also, the things AVB has been saying since his very first interview, has given the impression that he has the full backing of Roman. He has always responded confidently whenever asked about whether he can last at the club, etc etc which I don't think he would do unless Roman had told him that he would be given time. These comments in the latest press conference are strange - for a manager to come out and admit that there is player power, that not everyone backs him, and didn't he also admit that the story about some of them texting Mourinho was true? (didn't get to watch the press conference but saw a quote about that on twitter). While it may not be the best strategy to admit that to the media who must have started rubbing their hands with glee the moment he said those words, what he also did was send out the warning to his players that he has the support of Roman and crying to him will be no use. Disgraceful, disgraceful attitude from the players. I just want to fast-forward to August when hopefully most of the trouble-makers will be gone, AVB will still be here and there'll be some fresh new blood that's hungry for success and respects the manager 100%.
  12. I'm happy that roman seems to be supporting him 100%. I really don't think AVB will get the sack even if we finish 5th this season. Promising signs from Roman that he is willing to give him some time.
  13. 1-1 they've not been in the match at all and a goal out of nothing
  14. So refreshing to see Chelsea players play with desire and effort. Chelsea seniors, take note!
  15. ohhh Piazon took too long! Almost a very good goal
  16. these players are showing much more desire than their seniors. understandably the quality isn't as good but their movement is much better
  17. ah okay. Looks pretty good. I like the diagonal white stripe
  18. Thats.... pretty interesting. i don't know how I feel about the yellow. It's a fake though, right?
  19. I agree... we already discussed this a week or so ago and I expressed my views and I still stand by them. If these reports are true, I can understand his frustrations at not being played as a striker but he needs to learn to get on with it. He has done nothing in his career yet. He has only had 12 months of regular football. And he's already unhappy?! Jeez!
  20. I think he can actually. There were reports that he had been added to the CL squad for the knockout stage. But nothing official so it's not 100% certain. Since Anelka was removed, I'm guessing Lukaku was definitely included.
  21. Piazon hasn't played a single competitive game either. Not even in Brazil. Not saying he's not talented. But imo he doesn't deserve all this hype when he's not shown anything yet. Of course we hope that he becomes a good footballer, but it's a long way to go still
  22. haha maybe just a tad I don't remember that season very well because it was depressing apart from the domestic cups but I honestly don't remember being even 1/10th as frustrated with Sheva as I was/am with Torres.
