  1. Ramires has been good! Torres just bloody awful Also I've liked what I've seen from Ryan so far. One or two mistakes but much improvement on Cole.
  2. Still clueless defensively. Some things will never change
  3. so far 100 X more energy and work-rate than usual
  4. Glad to have Martin Tyler as commentator. Im fucking sick of Tony Gale
  5. Regarding rotation... Surely if those players were only dropped for rotation, Ramires and Mata would have been rested as well? Since they're our two most important players... Very curious to know what the reason is. I guess we won't know til we see what team he puts out on Saturday.
  6. Glad Kalou is playing. He's crap but can't do worse than some. Also happy to see Malouda dropped completely
  7. Oh, is Cole injured? I thought he was dropped but someone said on twitter that he's injured. Also do you guys think lamps, essien, Sturridge and Drogba were dropped or it's simply rotation?
  8. But now that I think about it, mikels style of play might help us today!
  9. With the exception of mikel, I like this team! And about fucking time that Cole gets dropped
  10. They will give it some time. If things don't change in 12-18 months they will leave.
  11. He's been doing those kinds of celebrations all season. He knows that the regulars that go to Stamford Bridge were anti-AVB and pro-oldguard so he used that to his advantage. And he not only tapped the badge against Bolton, he also raised both his hands and defiantly brought them down while pointing at the ground in a "I belong here and I'm not going anywhere" manner. At first I shrugged it off and thought maybe it was a call-back to his goal at the Reebok to win the title because he does the same thing when he scores there, but it just doesn't make sense and I believe in his mind he wanted to send the fans a message. He also stopped abruptly while doing the hand thing so he probably wasn't thinking when he started doing it and then realized so he stopped. Thoughts?
  12. Agree. He is the most biased out of the lot. He simply can't stop going on and on about Luiz.
  13. Absolutely. There was an incident on Saturday when Luiz did an okay job in defending when he got in front of their striker and sheparded the ball out for a goal kick and Tony Gale claimed it was "suicidal defending". I couldn't fucking believe it! I turned to my dad and said that if that was Phil Jones, that piece of defending would have been applauded, Jones described as Masterful, one who shows such Poise and Maturity well beyond his years.
  14. How can you believe with certainty that JT had nothing to do with it? Jose has never come out and said it but he had nothing whatsoever to gain by doing so. We simply don't know in that case. Naive to believe one way or the other completely
  15. We will probably never know until Jose releases a proper autobiography but I do think there were some tensions behind the scenes between him and JT. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Jose wanted to drop him which led to the whole fiasco
  16. Warnie's posts on the previous page.... Posted almost 3 years ago and if you change some names it would exactly fit what has just happened. What a ridiculous club we are.
  17. Yep this is why I said that people are naive to think that JT is the "true Chelsea legend" in their eyes after Lampard's behavior over the past few months. We don't know what JT's role in all of this was.
  18. Mikel should be kept unless we get an offer for him in excess of 15m. Meireles is a decent backup option. We can't replace all these players in one season so Meireles can stay for another year. Apart from that I agree with the general consensus
  19. Yeah JT was supposedly the main reason Jose got the sack. Jose wanted to drop him which angered JT and he complained to Roman. Jose and Roman weren't on the best of terms anyway so Roman got rid of him. This is what I've read but obviously no one knows exactly what happened. That's why I think it's naive of some to turn on lampard and at the same time claim that JT is the 'true Chelsea legend'. Im repeating what I said in the other thread, but let's not forget that JT wasn't dropped by AVB the way lampard was, so we can't compare the two situations. Furthermore because of the racism allegations, JT has stayed in the background. If roman intended on getting rid of these players in the summer, then wouldn't he simply let AVB continue? What's the point in sacking AVB? The only way it makes sense, is if they have changed their minds and decided to appoint an established manager. Because Moyes = AVB in basic terms. So sacking one and then appointing the other makes no sense if the players are out of the equation. Hope you get what I mean?
  20. What is the difference between Moyes and AVB? Moyes has more experience in the Premiership, but he is still a wild card at this level. No one knows how he would deal with superstars and prima donnas. There is no way that the club will go for Moyes. They will appoint a someone who has experience at the top level You mention about Moyes that he won't take shit from anybody. AVB wasn't just some quiet character who let himself be bullied by the old guard. He tried to fight them. He lost and that cost him his job.
  21. The UK media is always against foreign managers. And any two-bit British manager will get hyped up as the best manager in the world.
  22. but that would mean Bosingwa at RB. dear god....
