Yeah, he did support them as a kid.

I believe Dan Levene said on twitter a while back that we were going to include Lukaku, Cahill & Bertrand in the squad and remove Alex, Anelka and Ferreira. Not 100% sure if it was him though
-
Just checked and each team can make 3 changes. - from the UEFA regulations
-
Lukaku wasn't in the squad for the group stages. He'll probably be added into the squad for the knockout rounds now that Anelka is gone.

Hello and welcome Hope you stick around!

Apart from the error right at the end & also when he didn't close Young down and let him get a shot away which was saved by Cech in the first half, I thought he was pretty solid throughout the entire game. After watching the joke that is Bosingwa "defend" like a clown at RB these last few weeks, it's probably just a relief for people to see a competent player there. It's similar to the "Torres effect" where the player is so rubbish that when he/someone else does something half-decent, it comes off as magnificent because you're so used to the abysmal.

That was brilliant. Also the mancs were lucky not to have Giggs sent off for basically slicing through Drogba right before the Vidic foul. He frustrated them so much. Fergie must have been furious that they couldn't get the ball back. There should be a youtube clip of all his time wasting in that game + the 3 or 4 minutes he single-handedly wasted against City at home this season
-
Right. Didn't notice that. It's a pretty decent photoshop job. Usually they're awful and you can spot the part where they've inserted the new layer over the original one easily but this one is pretty well done
-
Surely that pic isn't real......... right???
-
Also Real offered a damn good price and it was hard to say no to that given his injury record.
-
Can we try Torres on the bench?
-
lol I hope so. I'm sure Carlo would love to have him there
-
Would it be possible to loan him to a PL side next season? I know he would like to stay at Atletico but he definitely needs to be tried out here first.
-
Unfortunately don't think he can go to PSG as he owns (or whatever) Dijon, amiright? Sigh. Anyway, welcome! hope you stick around. Some very good points mentioned.
-
He is finished. Thought at the start of the season that he could still become a decent 15 goals a season striker but no. He is hindering our progress as a team and we simply cannot afford to play such a piss-poor striker that doesn't score at all. Bye.

Proposal - change to the Matchday Chat system?

Either 2 or 3 would be fine with me! -
Thank you so much mate

Congrats Peace!

What the fuck. Why can't we ever seem to get rid of Bosingwa?!?!
-
Most PL refs are ok. They are average and make mistakes but most of them do not seem to have any obvious bias and can at least get the majority of "simple" fouls right. I like Clattenburg and Marriner the most. Atkinson is alright too. The few that are really dreadful: Chris Foy, Howard Webb and Lee Mason. They are absolutely pathetic and tend to get everything wrong.

Peace :D

We were the better side in terms of having possession. What did we do with that possession? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. That goal came out of NOTHING. We just passed passed passed without ever creating a single good chance that wasn't a long distance shot or from a set piece. They looked FAR MORE threatening when they had possession even in the 1st half. Every time they got the ball, you genuinely felt as if they could score. With us, nope.
-
Webb was just atrocious. Pretty much every single decision he made yesterday was wrong. For both teams. We got our fair share of luck too but Utd's second penalty?!?! Are you fucking kidding me??? Our midfield is so utterly dreadful. I'm so glad that Ess is back because he was superb yesterday. Gave everything he had even though after the 60th or so minute he had barely anything left in his tank. What a player. Our tactics yesterday were much better. With Mata in the hole more often and having Ess back certainly helped a great deal. But our execution and final ball is so piss poor!! We had so much of the possession in the first half but couldn't do a single thing with it. I'm done with Torres. He had a decent game overall but that chance he had. Dear lord. Get the fuck out. Can't wait to see him leave. Sorry mate, didn't work for you here. Never going to work. Good luck elsewhere. And seriously guys, don't let the 3-0 lead fool you. We were nowhere near as good as Utd, let alone good enough to have a 3-0 lead. It just happened to turn out that way and fair play to the players (read: Mata, who is a genius) to achieve that lead but we were average from the 1st minute to the 94th. Of course, not having Lampard, Ramires, JT and Cole who are/have been our most important players + leaders on the pitch showed. Well done to Cahill. Very solid debut for him. Tremendous pressure he must have been under against the pacy & intelligent Rooney, Welbeck and co. He did make a couple of mistakes but overall a very very good performance by him. Finally, Mata is amazing. He is a stunning, unbelievable, unreal, majestic little GEM. He doesn't deserve to be playing in such a poor, poor team. I hope we can keep him even if we don't get CL football this season - which I'd say is pretty likely IMO. We need to build our team around HIM.
-
Plenty of pressure on him today after comments in the media by little penis and AVB as well. This has to be his absolute last chance to prove himself before he is dropped and lukaku and/or Sturridge are moved to CF. I wouldn't play him today anyway but can't see lukaku playing. You better wake up, Fernando.

Right. Didn't think about the situation outside the stadium as well. Think it'll probably be postponed
