He always used to score against us, and when he was good he acted like he was better than Didier and the best striker in the world...And i always used to get into arguments, that Drogba is miles better...I was more than pissed when we got him, but i am glad Didier finally showed the world that nando is crap that is scared of real competition, and even with the service of Mata he still was crap and i hated him more because he has been crap so far in a Chelsea shirt as one of the highest earners (he wanted more wage, he shpould do his freaking job) and i convinced myself to have faith in him and he still was shit, and an aging Drogba outshone him...No he has not given me any reason to like him yet.....

I just would not trust going into a season with a past it nando and i honestly do not believe that Lukaku and Sturridge are at the level right now to be a first choice striker if Torres doesnt turn up. Torres as he is right now, is not good enough for to be first choice striker until he shows otherwise, you can talk about runs and link up play all you want, strikers who score goals do those too. I totally agree with all you have said, we missed out on Modric, to an extent Hazard and Neymar, all for ridiculously cheap prices with the current inflated market. Then people will come up with excuses A.) Premier League unproven (Mata and Silva have destroyed that myth). The history of Brazilians in the premier league; whereas two of our 3 best players last season are Brazilians. If the rumors are true, this is a steal for us, he is a starter in the Brazilian national team, the same one that Ramires doesnt start for, and Lucas Moura who we got a 32M bid turn down for is not a regular starter. People need to learn to appreciate a good deal when they see one, instead of looking for the negatives.
