That statement gives me a lot of hope that both Kalou and Malouda will be shipped off at the end of the season. He knows where the future is (This is just another reason why we should keep Boas) He knows we need an attacking player in the mould of Hulk, Hazard . He knows we need an creative spark like Moutinho, Lucas etc. (If he leaves the egos will be afforded another season)

Whatever he hasn't done doesn't justify the media's treatment of him. -

I find the lack of respect for AVB quite sad tbh. Not just from some fans but the media as a whole. Here's an excellent article, by none other than... Goal.com -
Napoli's defense is their to be scored against. We need to find some structure and get our defense to a Chelsea standard. Yesterday was such a enigmatic game. The defenses of both teams led every attack to look threatening. Their attackers are just better and it showed in the scoreline. But honestly, I do think we are still very much in this game. Surprisingly we dominated for so many periods in that game and got open by a mistake which we can't afford to make against an attacking caliber of Napolis. At home, in the bridge, we have a chance. People need to stop talking about this as a if its a post-mortem thread. We weren't murdered, really we weren't! We did it against Valencia so we can do it against Napoli. KTBFFH!

I think Piazon's got a lot more talent than them, yes, but it is raw. You can't throw a very young 18 year old into the deep in end for a game of such magnitude. It's mad! -
For me this game didn't teach us anything new. We got shown how shit Meireles is, also that we don't have a good enough winger, we're not clinical enough/lack a good striker like Cavani, Mata is practically our only spark. Anything new? I don't think so.

Fuck COD, I'm gonna go on Fifa and do what we should have done after going 1-0 up, rape Napoli.

Cech – He finally gives one of his due performances, one of his best performances for some time. pretty good, could have done better for the last goal. Ivanovic – I thought he had an OK/bad first half, didn’t really look too troubled. The second half, not so much. Gary Cahill – Very poor, looked like on his first Champions League game, like a Clownfish amongst Sharks. David Luiz – Neither awful nor breathtaking, but arguably at fault for the goal Ashley Cole – One excellent goal line clearance, which could have buried the tie. Merieles – Never Chelsea material for me and he really showed how bad he is today. Such a un-caring attitude, he just casually sticks his leg out similar to Bosingwa in that respect. Ramires- Another poor performer, very unusual from him. Gave away to ball quite a bit. Mata – Unsurprisingly the bright spark again. Feel sorry for him he’s so determined, I wish the players around him had his attitude. Malouda – Very quiet, didn’t contribute, not what you want from someone in his position but I’ve come to expect that. Although to be fair he did have a couple of good moments, and at least he didn’t making any costly errors… Sturridge – Improved as the game went on and was unlucky at times. He didn’t have much to feed into. Drogba – He was doing all the talking before the game but I’m pretty sure he himself didn’t step up to the level he was telling everyone else too. Bosingwa – N/a Lampard – Nothing, needs to stop sulking. Essien – Same as above. One the whole I don’t think we’re out of this, if Napoli defend anything like they did today, and we play to our expected level we can still go through.

I can honestly say, if we line up how we ended the game we have a chance. Their defense was bad but ours was just worse on the night - with attackers like Lavezzi and Cavani they'll finish everything. We had our chances but we don't have their clinical quality. A huge factor is the creativity, they have Lavezzi and Hamsik picking the locks and we had Meireles and Ramires. Mata could've picked a few holes too. A defense that shaky is a walking volcano .Malouda also played quite well today IMO. AVB can't be blamed for this loss. Yes the line up was arguable but individual mistakes lost us the game. You just can't manage a game which ends up runn We can do it, 2 goals and a clean defense - difficult against a team that's scored 5 away goals but remember what we did against Valencia. We can do this I know it, our defense just needs to concentrate.

That's just talk to shut the everbullshitting media up ffs. We made bids for Lucas and inquired for hazard and such!
-
Keep that shit to yourself mate.
-
Bring on Torres & Lampard?
-
Fuck sake
-
Anyone else think Torres could thrive in these conditions? Napoli's defense has been poor and Torres's touch is very good.
-
F' sake Meireles is so shit
-
The commentators said something about an over-celebration.
-
How can you be doing maths in a moment like this!
-
The way I see it is that neither team is worthy of a lead, but I can see either team scoring due to the lack of good defending from both ends. And I'll be honest, if this is the best Napoli can give us on this night I don't see why a half decent Chelsea can't get us something positive from this game (Because we haven't even been half decent).
-
I disagree. Regardless of their chances we don't deserve to be losing. If you talk about chances what about Ramires and Luiz's? Heck even Ivanovic had a chance. The two defenses look incredibly poor.
-
The two defenses have been competing with who can play worse. Don't deserve to be losing.
