  1. We just gotta get behind Bosingwa. He's pulled it off before, remember that night when he made Messi invisible?
  2. Did anybody see Jamie Redknapp and Gary Neville talking about the Terry situation pre-Newcastle match. They're both against him getting the captaincy stripped, citing innocent until proven guilty and how they're setting a dangerous precedent etc
  3. Peace, TX and Super-Frank. Hard to rank, but Peace ranks no.1
  4. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11667/7483627/Hernandez-taunts-Torres Another reason to hate Hernandez and his punchable face. We need Torres to start scoring soon, I want him to do it even more so after hearing him on Chelsea TV yesterday.
  5. It's a bit of both. Early in the season season we were lacking the clinical factor, I mean if we took our chances we should've won in Old Trafford, Stoke, Fulham Tottenham, Arsenal + many more. And we all know how one clinical striker can make a difference with RVP for Arsenal and all. However, a lot of the chances we're creating nowadays are half-chances. Our providers haven't been the wingers, but players like Torres who should be scoring rather than giving service. As the seasons progressed our chance creation has definetley decreased too. With Meireles, who lacks the ability to open a defense with a pass, Sturridge who is too selfish, Malouda, similarly selfish, the majority of our playmakers/providers are affording us with very little to go on. Anelka, who was selfless, has left, Benayoun loaned to Arsenal, Lampard injured, McEachran loaned, and Kakuta too, we have depleated our squad of the creativity we availed. In our current situation I think we do have to give some of our youths a chance. Piazon is very young yes, but I don't think it'd hurt to give him some time. I mean our creativity is so minimal, with Mata and arguably Luiz providing us with the most creative flair. Starting with 10 minutes here and their surely won't hurt. If it really doesn't work then at least we can say that we tried!
  6. I'm still not too bothered about City's interest. He's categorically stated he wants playing time, everybody knows that their team is oversaturated and he has seemed to shrug them off in most interviews. I mean as a young largely inexperinced player, watching Nasri warm the bench, does he really think he'd be getting much playing time? Nasri was proven at all levels and isn't a regular starter. Eden seems clever enough too know City won't give him the time he wants.
  7. lol could've been at Arsenal! that would have been a disaster.
  8. This has just completly contradicted the notion of innocent until proven guilty. The FA have been guided by the media big time. I naturally wanted Lamps to inherit it after I head of the decision, but now I just think it's not worth it. We/he don't need this bollocks that comes with being the captain. I'm sure anybody would take great-pride in the accolade of being captain, but the FA circus and the media scrutiny that come's with it is a very heavy burden that we fans and the player, can do without.
  9. This is so fucking ridocolous whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty. Oh wait this is a Chelsea player we're talking about time for FA to use their double standards again. FA have really fucked this one up big time. All I can say is Anton Fucking Ferdinand got what he wanted. I really hope JT gets proven innocent, I'd like to see the FA answer that one.
  10. Valencia 1 -0 Barcelona!!!!! Jonas goal, they deserve it too
  11. Eff sake. We weren't Sh*t. If anything, we were better pre-Abramovich than we are at this moment!
  12. Everybody has their questions on Torres. Jump on to twitter now: Everybody refrain from insulting him lol
  13. Yes thats very true mate. I'm happy we're not going for a player like Downing. Our targets are looking top class. Credit to AVB, and that's another reason why AVB must stay.
  14. It's over then. Biggest regret in January is missing out on Eduardo Vargas. A very talented, skilful forward who was an aboloute steal in the current climate. What makes it worse is that he isn't cup tied and its looking very possible that we'll be facing him at Napoli. He's just a player who was literally a perfect example of what we're yearning. He just about lost the South American footballer of the year award to Neymar, and it's funny to think that we couldn't put forward 11 million for Vargas and yet look too splash it on other unproven youngsters Ofcourse failing to sign Hazard and Lucas is a regret, but it's quite clear they weren't going anywhere this winter. We still have a big shout for them in Summer though
  15. Touche. At the end of the day, people can say what they want about him failing to reinforce. Their isn't top quality players availible in January. I'd rather we hold out for Lucas and Hazard in Summer (2 possibly unreal signings) then panic buy and get Willian. I know the void is their, and I think we have let some of the wrong players go, but I don't want to be lowering the standard in January to get by. That is the defintion of a panic-buy. No matter what AVB has to stay, other wise this painful transition would be utterly pointless and a new manager will come, go to board and revaluate our tired and aging squad. With the potential signings of Hazard and Lucas, and the return of Mceachran and Kakuta our teams would look worlds better instantly. We have to be patient, and hope our players can pull through!
  16. Our transfers have been a mess: Some how, beyond human comprehension, we have salvaged a point for this truly awful game. Looking at the game I just wonder about of transfers, have we kept the wrong players and sold the wrong ones? Out: Anelka: Offers a lot of creativity, and would easily be in our top 3 for creative players. Benayoun: Ditto, he is creative. What makes it worse is us loaning him too Arsenal. The two-aforementioned players are not a long-term solution we know that. If we do go after Lucas and Hazard in summer then more than adequate replacements are clearly in the market. Those two are diamonds and I just hope we do bring them in; it's almost incomprehensible in our current state! McEachran: The lad oozes creativity and can see a pass that many can't. That doesn't always come with experience, and if we had the balls we would've kept him at the club and played him far more consistently than what we did. Alex: He didn't want to be here, I would've loved him too stay but he's too good for the bench. Defence isn't the issue here anyway Kakuta: Divisive is Gael, he needs playing time and he knows it but I just think given an opportunity at Chelsea, he can play, and even if it's not at his peek, it's definitely better than the shit we yield. Still wearing Blue! Malouda: He offers nothing anymore, and is filling the place of another player who can i.e. Piazon (too young), Mceachran, Kakuta. Bosingwa: Guy can't cross, Cesar Azpilicueta would've been perfect but Ivanovic is just so much better than Jose it's laughable. Meireles: Not expecting him to leave in half a season, but he shouldn’t be starting regularly. McEechran really should've stayed. In the short-term I think our results could have been far better. In the long term, with us vying two WORLD-CLASS players in Lucas and Hazard, this transition could have been a lot easier. Anyway I hope the players prove me wrong. Top 4 is so vital, at the end of the day the team who gets it, either us or Arsenal, will get Hazard. It's as simple as that. Theirs a lot at stake.
