  1. Love the togetherness in the squad. Torres and Mata are just brothers, their a family.
  2. I want Hazard but just talking generally it is sad how inflated these prices have become, especially youngsters. We actually had Neymar for what 17 million euros? Fees were agree I remember it on the website and everything but the contract was never signed at the end. 2 or 3 years later, it's a whole different ball game.
  3. No matter how they've done it they have almost 100% tabled him an offer, I saw Ferguson watching a Lille game and its obvious. They pay Rooney 250k a week. I still think 200k is complete BS, I can guarantee no club has offered him that much. It's a footballing choice now basically but United are genuine contenders no doubt.
  4. United's wing has Nani, Valencia, Giggs and Young but Hazard has been playing attacking midfielder this season dropping between the wing and midfield. Still his chances are nowhere near as good as at Chelsea and IMO he is most effective on the wings. It's strange to see them looking to fork out on a player who's not naturally a sole midfielder (where they really need to strengthen) but I guess Fergie really likes him. IMO their still favourties, negotiations are complete and their are four clubs who have tabled an offer. No matter what we think or say will change that, I have no doubt United are one of the clubs. Ferguson is a huge attractive point, he made Ronaldo and he will stick with you through thick and thin unlike Mancini. If he's genuinely going to pay 28 million then Hazard won't worry about lack of opportunities too. We haven't even appointed our manager yet! We need to get that sorted ASAP. As soon as he hears the manager say, like I keep saying, that he will play (even though it's obvious) and be central to our plans then our chances go up big time. He likes attacking play and Di Matteo does too, remember at West Brom? We just need the tools and he can be an important component. At this point it's all up to him. I have a feeling that United is his top choice atm but know that we've caused him huge hesitation. Qualifying for the UCL and winning was so important.
  5. One legend and one hopefully legend to be carrying the torch earlier ^
  6. At this point chances mean nothing, it's up to him now. No more negotiations means it's a footballing decision from now on too. Everyone in the comments seem to agree that Chelsea is clearly the best option, some stuff he says like Hazard having ample opportunity in a team like United which has such a strong wing is quite funny. Logic still clearly points to Chelsea, but Ferguson's input is the major obstacle. He's made Ronaldo and we are still uncertain as to who will be our manager next season.
  7. Drogba waves goodbye to become a Chelsea legend
  8. Didier Drogba is due to carry the Olympic torch through Swindon any minute now. http://www.bbc.co.uk/torchrelay/day5 EDIT: Haha Flood of blue people around Drogba and you can here Chelsea fans chanting
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBrWpyGv2D0 Ungrateful Bayern fans, for all he's done - they would never of been in the final without him.
  10. http://www.guillemba... League Final%2 Just shedding some truth to these grossly exaggerated quotes, the media seemed to of all signed a pact promising to neglect it.
  11. Within 2 weeks we should: - Appoint our manager, Di Matteo hopefully - he isn't negotiating anymore but after our managers snapped up, like Di Matteo already did with Marin, he should comfort Hazard and tell him how he'll probably be playing most games etc. Instilling this certainty is the most we can do as a club. - Hope Lukaku, De Bruyne and Courtois can whisper a few things. They all joined up yesterday with the national team, and Kompany was questioned on Hazard joining. He said I'll talk to him about it but not pressurise. - Tell Cahill, Lampard, Cole, Terry and maybe Sturridge to be nice when they meet up and don't to break his legs.
  12. As the times have passed he's seemed to of bonded with the players. Trophies do that. Guillem balague's interview was taken horribly out of context, it was an honest reflection. Maybe he should have thought it through better, since it seems as though many knew Drogba was going to leave. Now their is no hiding. Their is no doubt he has improved a lot recently and I just hope he can prove it on the pitch.
  13. LMFAO, to be fair it's 2 months ago and Nike organised it though
  14. So true, Fergie is a big attraction, he made Ronaldo and when he's willing to dish out that money he will play you through thick and thin (de gea). Nonetheless it just doesn't sound viable with their astronomical debts and the fact they don't need a winger as much as they need a natural midfielder. Ok he has played this season as an attacking midfielder dropping in and out as a winger too but someone like Kagawa or Modric makes far more sense. In that sense Hazard is still cutting it tight for daily opportunities. City IMO apart from the money is a ridiculous destination, Mancini is horrid with youngsters, their squad is overly saturated and theirs no way he'll get the daily 'opportunities' his dad has talked of. All sense points to Chelsea but sometimes football doesn't make sense. However these delays are only a goo Manchester was definite a few weeks ago but now we're back in. The quicker we appoint a manger the better. If we instill that certainty in his mind that the manager will play him and he hears that for himself then I'm sure it could sway his decision. We have everything, a luxury of being an hour by train to France or Belgium and more importantly the opportunity to flourish into the world-beater we all know he can be.
  15. I still can't believe the wage demands, but I guess we can all blame City for splashing their 'stupid money and paying silly salaries'. I mean Tevez who missed out on a lot of the season was earning £286000 per week. Agents aren't ignorant to this. City have ridiculously inflated transfers. Whenever their involved you can expect such obstacles from now on. If this is true, than would United realistically splash such astronomical wages on an unproven youngster? Rooney, one of the best strikers in the world, earns 250k a week. Can you imagine the debt enamored United splashing it out on Hazard when truthfully they have Valencia, Nani, Young and even Giggs. They need natural creative midfielders mainly.
  16. Just thought I'd mention, Ben Andrews said that we'll have a star on our kit next season (he said this during the weekend review). He added its like Spain did with the World Cup and also added that the mega store bunch are clever, and that you'll have to pick up another kit for next season.
