  4. Champions League Final Preview special on skysports 2 now. 1 hour and 30 mins of anaysis, their at the Allianz Arena live too. Hypppppped
  5. Anyway It's great to see Bayern doing this. It doesn't work on Drogba guys, it may have the opposite effect. Benitiz said: http://www.metro.co....-cheat-comments Drogba did: http://news.bbc.co.u...ope/7368736.stm
  6. Stats mean nothing in a final, our journey to the final negates logic completely. Gomez vanished in the cup final against Dortmund. Drogba can coerce his presence upon a defense like no other striker can. Their defense is crippled and ours isn't too bad imo even without JT at the healm. Let's not forget we have Cole who is also the best at containing the best. He has kept Ronaldo in his pocket consistently and Cahill proved himself against Messi in the first leg. Bosingwa too. We need huge performances. Also their team has apparently been leaked with the line up and formation following: --------------Neuer-------------------- Lahm---Tymo---Boateng---Contento --------Kroos---------Schweinsteiger-------- Robben--------Mueller---------Ribery ----------------Gomez----------------- I would be surprised about Contento over Rafinha, but either way their defense gives me hope. Their front six is terrifying but we have the players to hold them at bay.
  7. Average player ratings for the last five games, rated by goal: Interesting.
  8. Add that to these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEFoRghwC9w What a striker
  9. Ok so he says he's going Manchester. What can United offer him? They have Nani, Valencia, Young and probably Kawaga. City's midfield is saturated with talent, Silva, Nasri, Johnson, Milner. Nasri has said he preferred to play in the middle too. However, with Mancini and his extremely defensive tendancies I don't understand why he seems to have chosen a Manchester club. He probably can be better than most of them, but a transition isn't that easy too make. Many times we've seen talents go waste - like Quaresma. Choosing City would be a huge gamble. I actually think out of the two, despite the fact that United have some top wingers he would have a greater impact at United over City. Fergie's done it with Ronaldo and it would be a dangerous prospect to put him in such experienced hands. Mancini on the other hand, I'm not so sure - he hasn't handled Johnson well, and Balotelli imo could've done what he did without him their. (No matter what the media say). Still with all this said, and the shattering statement he made the other day I do think we have an opportunity. With such risky circumstances I think Chelsea have an opportunity, but it all rests on one thing - Champions League football next season. He has said the right things, and when you break it down a move to City isn't as crazy as you'd think - risky, but since he is clearly better than nearly all of them it's not crazy. Arsenal would be a great choice, but money pretty much rules them out - not to mention salvation in the Ox and some other youngsters like Miyachi. He made his intent to join Manchester clear when he was at a big event, and the news were flooded with Manchester this Manchester that. Contrary to what I first thought he does seem to enjoy flattering himself (by opening himself to all clubs for example), despite his generally great character on and off the pitch. If we do win I would not be surprised at all if he says London is an option, so my message to the board would be clear, keep on pressing. A Champions league victory would be immense for so many reasons and with our quite embarrassing wing-play/attacking midfielding options, logic may just open a gate to the Bridge.
  10. BRILLIANT NEWS, STEVE CLARKE HAS LEFT THEM TOO.
  11. Lahm will me shitting himself over meeting either Torres and Drogba, regardless of whats happened to Torres recently.
  12. Chelsea players in: John Terry, Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard DOWNING OVER STURRIDGE WTF!
  13. The source itself wasn't goal, he told Ona FM - and there are legitimate quotes saying he wants to leave and some others saying otherwise. Just thought I'd post it anyhow - one things for sure he's said he would return to Barca if they called with no hesitation earlier this week.
  14. On Top of this before he came to Man City, he said he says he had two dreams - a) too play with his brother ( which he did at City) and b ) play with Drogba at club level,(his Ivory Coast captain). What do you think? I know he lost some fans over the Mata stuff, but he is an incredible player - plus leaving Man City to is a good plus as it'd be a huge loss to them and a bit of a fuck you to their accomplishments if he leaves them over us. I think he's vying a Barca return atm, but Real are very keen and with Drogba at the healm I think it is a possibility, no matter how much City hate it.
  15. Ridiculous for you to say that. Have you seen Benzema this season? Just look at his stats, he's scored 30+ goals and got 10+ assists. Nobody could stop him scoring for a large chuck of the season. That sounds like a world class striker to me, not to mention he's only 24 so can still improve. And also these Real Ibra' rumours are BS' (his agent himself said the same).
