  1. Eden Hazard - Tactical Implications http://www.weaintgotnohistory.com/2012/5/29/3050508/eden-hazard-tactics-chelsea-fc
  2. If we do get Hulk, there's no doubt he would make the superior winger. I mean Ramires is not primarily a Winger he's a midfielder and was being played there due to our lack of resources, yes he's done well there but I'm sure he wouldn't mind playing as a Midfielder. Ramires can easily be rotated with Mikel & Lamps. Also as you can probably gather from my initial post, getting rid of one of our better players is not an idea I'm that comfortable with; and I wouldn't sell players due to a concern over FFP. I honestly wouldn't be too worried about the FFP side of things, Chelsea got a sh*t load of money from the UCL and should surely know the ins and outs of it. Bottom line is this tactical question mark is where the manager earns his money.
  3. Nah he won't for long. I mean look at Mikel and his United history. It will happen for maybe a few minutes at club level, at the very beginning but I expect it too end quickly. If he signed for United of City the Manchester fans wouldn't let go and it'd be a whole different story. Let's not forget he doesn't dive, has always been a honest player on and off the pitch ( just a burger incident). We can have the media to blame for their demonisation of him. The interviewers would ask him what about Tottenham for example and he'd answer them with the generic rhetoric complementing each club, hence the accumulated quotes.Even earlier on SSN they talked to a french footballing expert about his apparent 'ego' and he quickly dismissed it. I've been watching him since his teens and he's always seemed like a top guy.
  4. Joe Cole, Hazard's team-mate at Lille last season Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger Real Madrid director of football and former France international Zinedine Zidane Former France international Christophe Dugarry Former Marseilles manager Rolland Courbis Claude Puel, Lille's manager from 2002 to 2008 Harry Redknapp Tottenham manager (HAHAHA) Emmanuel Petit, ex-Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder
  5. Hazard signed for Lille on the 28th of May, the same day he announced his chosen destination Yeh, Him before anyone. I don't get why we're pondering over Malouda and have let Kalou go straight away (so it seems). Vice Versia would've made far more sense.
  6. Really lol? Normally his posts are always so positive imo. Great poster.
  7. Ok so he says he's going Manchester. What can United offer him? They have Nani, Valencia, Young and probably Kawaga. City's midfield is saturated with talent, Silva, Nasri, Johnson, Milner. Nasri has said he preferred to play in the middle too. However, with Mancini and his extremely defensive tendancies I don't understand why he seems to have chosen a Manchester club. He probably can be better than most of them, but a transition isn't that easy too make. Many times we've seen talents go waste - like Quaresma. Choosing City would be a huge gamble. I actually think out of the two, despite the fact that United have some top wingers he would have a greater impact at United over City. Fergie's done it with Ronaldo and it would be a dangerous prospect to put him in such experienced hands. Mancini on the other hand, I'm not so sure - he hasn't handled Johnson well, and Balotelli imo could've done what he did without him their. (No matter what the media say). Still with all this said, and the shattering statement he made the other day I do think we have an opportunity. With such risky circumstances I think Chelsea have an opportunity, but it all rests on one thing - Champions League football next season. He has said the right things, and when you break it down a move to City isn't as crazy as you'd think - risky, but since he is clearly better than nearly all of them it's not crazy. Arsenal would be a great choice, but money pretty much rules them out - not to mention salvation in the Ox and some other youngsters like Miyachi. He made his intent to join Manchester clear when he was at a big event, and the news were flooded with Manchester this Manchester that. Contrary to what I first thought he does seem to enjoy flattering himself (by opening himself to all clubs for example), despite his generally great character on and off the pitch. If we do win I would not be surprised at all if he says London is an option, so my message to the board would be clear, keep on pressing. A Champions league victory would be immense for so many reasons and with our quite embarrassing wing-play/attacking midfielding options, logic will open a gate to the Bridge. :tophat:
